GHK G5 M4 Carbine GBB Airsoft Rifle (Tan)
[O12C00][14761 / GHK-G5-TN / G5 GBBR Tan]New to airsoft? Here are some safety tips for airsoft guns that we recommend following.
GHK was founded on the year 2008 and is currently located in Taiwan. For the past few years, they have been creating high quality high performance airsoft guns and accessories. The GHK G5 is another great addition to their lineup. The upper and lower assembly are manufactured out of a DuPont Polymer Construction. The durability is at its finest point while decreasing the overall weight compared to a full metal rifle. The monolithic upper rail allows the user to have multiple options when mounting their desired accessory. The slimmer pistol grip and compact design is ideal for the smaller operator. The included lower and side rails allows for multiple accessories to adapt to different environments. The internal mechanisms are designed of a high quality metal for the utmost durability and longevity of the product. The ambidextrous charging handle, fire selector, and magazine release makes this gun ideal for both left and right handed shooters. With the included buffer tube stock adapter, the operator has the opportunity for adding a retractable stock for more comfort and maneuverability. This is an ideal airsoft gun for those looking for a unique and compact platform.

I was very satisfied with this product. Due to its very light weight because of the durable DuPont polymer you get a very strong recoil compared to other gas blowbacks, and it also has an amazing cool down rate. I went through three magazines in full auto with no issues. There also are some pretty cool aftermarket stuff for this gun, like carbine kits, and cqb bolts. Overall this gun is a great choice for anyone looking for a cool m4/mp5 style gas blowback.
Pros:
Pros
1: Strong Mp5 style gas blow back
2:Really durable construction
3: the gun cools down great
4: has many cool features on it
Cons:
Cons:
- Expensive Magazines (coupon code makes them $45 a pop)
- Charging handle is a little flimsy
- Occasional "CODsofter" going cool skorpion evo
NOT RECOMMENDED! I ordered this gun five months ago, I'd been waiting for it for so long and I was so stoked when I finally got it. I put some gas in the mag, filled it with BB's and shot it in my back yard. I was so impressed, it sounded so good and kicked so nicely. Later that same day, I took it to my CQB field. I had fun with it... well, for half a round. During the round I had ran out of BB's so I went to the safe area to reload. The mag had a huge crack on the feeding lip! Any BB I would try and put in, it would just pop out! I went home and ordered another magazine straight away. I went up the next two Fridays, it worked great and well. The next friday, the mag started leaking. A lot. I'd taken proper care of the mags too. I loaded it with silicon and went home. The next day, I went back in my backyard to test the mag. When I let the charging handle release forward, the actual charging handle SNAPPED OFF! I was so surprised! I thought it was decent polymer. A couple weeks later, I took the gun apart to clean it and thought "Hey, if I push the hammer down and take out the bolt catch I can fire it!" and so I did that and started shooting it. After a couple or so shots, THE ENTIRE BACK OF THE GUN CRACKED! I was just done then. I was completely done after that. It was essentially a waste of 300 dollars.
Pros:
-Good kick
-shoots good velocity for Cqb
-Kicks a good amount
-works well in cold
-lightweight
Cons:
-Expensive mags
-Not that accurate
-Very weak polymer
-Not so good mags
I gave it a two because it's good when it works.
Looks and feels great, a perfect system for close quarters. I've been using it stock, out of the box, hopup is an awkward thing to adjust on it and it's accuracy at range can be pretty bad. The one I received though was almost perfectly zeroed with it's own sighs up to around 20m and my optics where still great with it. It's certainly the loudest and jumpiest airsoft gun i'v used and playing indoors with no accoustics, i'v made even grown men shout in surprise when I fire.
It's a good psychological edge, letting someone on the other team use it one round, It was the least pleasurable thing i'v ever had fired at me in airsoft. Mags are expensive though and very difficult to load.
It's cooldown resistance is fantastic as well. During a freezing winter day, in the rain, at Ballahack, I was still able to clear entire mags with only one malfunction.
All and all though, even with cons as numerous as pros, I highly recommend. The price is low for a weapon so great and it's the most fun i'v ever had in airsoft.
Pros:
Satisfying and responsive with every shot
Can magdump at a very steady ROF
Cooldown resistance
Fantastic close range accuracy and light weight
Cons:
Expensive mags
Small gripe, but very difficult to load bbs into the mags.
Stock gets a little bit wobbly.
awkward hopup.

You can use propane also. All you need is a propane adapter and some silicon oil and your good to go. You can find the adapter here on Airsoft GI.
