The G&G Tactical Hand guard Rail for M4 adds a little more versatility to your M4's hand guards with out completely replacing them with a Rail Interface System. This rail section attaches to the top hand guard and provides two offset rail sections for the user's choice of a laser or flashlight. You could mount both, if you wanted, but one of them might impede peripheral vision.

I have one of these on each of my M4gery AEGs. I also gave this mount a shot to put a real Surefire on my real AR15. It fits that handguard perfectly too even with the heatshields inside of it. Handles recoil and heat coming off the handguards just fine. Hasn't melted or flown off yet :D
I move the Surefire onto one of my M4geries whenever I think I'll be needing a light. Recently a indoor CQB place opened up in Austin and its nice to have the ability to throw a light on any of my M4geries as we play at night there in poor lit conditions. They are cheap enough to have on all of your M4 handguards if you don't want to spend the coin and add the extra weight of a front end metal rail setup.
Pros:
Cheap, lightweight, fits all airsoft and real steel handguards I've tried to use it with. Mounts a flashlight, laser pointer unit, or anything else that uses a 20mm picatinny or weaver rail. Stays put, even on the real deal.
Cons:
I honestly can't think of any. Rough getting this rail, handguard, and the aluminum heatshield inside to line up correctly on a real AR15 handguard, but shouldn't be a problem on an airsoft replica. The aluminum handguard can be removed safely in a replica, not recommended for the real deal.

Could someone explain the process of attaching this to a standard m4 handguard and the necessary tools needed?
I have an ics standard m4A1 and I wanted a rail to attach a vertical foregrip. Would this suit my needs and is it easy to attach since I'm not comfortable with modifying guns.
