This is the standard motor that comes stock in the G&G line of guns. This motor is comparable to the CA motor and very close in performance. the difference IMO between the two is that the g&g's magnates are a litttttlllllleee bigger giving more torque. Seeing as this motor is 2/3 the price of a CA and can handle any practical upgrade and still have great rof like the ca makes this decision over a CA a no brainer. this motor pulled an m120 spring WITH THE STOCK BATTERY!!!!! only an 8.4 and only 1700mah....try...just try that with a CA and see how far back you can get the piston. yes it got warm but wasn't struggling or having trouble.
Pros:
great rof, not crazy or insane but for the torque and rof with an m120 spring (which btw is the most common spring used in most upgrades) this thing is the perfect balance between torque and speed. with a big fully topped off 9.6v you can get a good 18-20 rpm with an m120 and stock gears. the stock spring in these g&g's are an m110 anyway and my friend almost stripped his piston for how easy the spring was and how much juice he was putting in. he had a half charged 9.6v 4200mah in his stock soc16 and was doing 23rps
Cons:
what? cons? ha
This is such a BEAST motor! if you don't have a Guay and Guay brand gun, THIS IS A MUST HAVE! Although being only the standard G&G motor, this is very effective in upgrading intermediate rifles, like my Well M4 R13.
Pros:
VERY fast in intermediate rifles
Can pull medium sized springs (M-130)
Is very capable in CQB guns
Cons:
None, but do note that it drains power quickly in smaller batteries, so have a spare in handy
Had this in my stock G&G GR-16 Carbine. I was running it on a 9.6v 1600mAh Intellect mini battery. Rate of fire was satisfying. I was getting 27 bb's per second out of this motor! If you are wondering which magazines work best for this gun with its rate of fire, I recommend the G&G m4/m16 mid caps or the MAG m4/m16 mid caps. The only bad thing about this motor is that it burned out on me after only 1 year of play and around ~8,000 rounds put threw it. I could have just gotten a bad motor but none the less it work flawlessly for that 1 year.
Pros:
-Great rpm with 9.6v battery
-Cheap!
-Great Pinion Gear
-Does not over heat like clone motors
-Great build quality
Cons:
-No real cons for this motor besides that mine broke after only 1 year of use, none the less an absolutely great motor

(I have this same question)
Staff Answer:
It depends on the supporting parts of the motor. A 7.4v lipo battery should be fine in most builds. 2421 days ago 0
