The G&G Full Metal RK Beta has arrived just in time for airsoft players who want a strong AK carbine for everyday use. Prior to now, the only options for a Beta AEG rifle were the over-priced plastic collector's brands or the imitation brands that are cheap in price and quality. How does the G&G RK Beta compare? It's just a good solid gun for the arena. The full metal body acts as a foundation for the polymer fixed stock and front handguards that are durable and light. It is equipped with a reinforced Version 3 gearbox and a high-torque short-type motor that pump out BBs at a strong rate. A tight-bore one-piece barrel improves the accuracy and means there are fewer moving parts. The result is an extremely solid and realistic AEG.
It would be uncharacteristic of G&G to build a gun exactly like their competitors, which is why they've equipped this RK Beta with Picatinny rails. The front hand guard had one rail on the bottom side for vertical grips, two rails each on the left and right side for lights and/or lasers, and one rail on top for optics. These rail sections solve the Achilles Heel associated with most AK models: the lack of potential for accessories. It has many practical features that are wanted in G&G AK carbines such as hop-up, adjustable sights and duel sling attachment points. And the rifle is built with their patented pneumatic blowback that gives a real kick when you fire. I love ak's and this one makes my 3rd. I gotta say this is the most solid angry lil fella i own. I have a vector arms ak74u and a vfc ak74 but this one takes the cake. The rails are just to handy to have and the solid body on this gun is just impressive. What really impressed me the most was the sound and weight of the gun. the weight gives the gun such realism and the sound of the gun can strike fear. If you are like me and love the ak series this gun is a must. I couldn't find to much on the net about this gun but i can tell ya its worth every penny.

Cons:
i have the g&g vertical grip with the rails, the grip can get in the way when changing mags but its not to big of a issue.
only mag that didnt fit was the g&p ak 74 plastic mid cap, but the g&p metal ak 47 mid cap will.
I've been playing for about a year now and this is the second AEG I've bought, and I gotta say l love it. I couldn't decide between an AK-47 or a 74u and this is the best of both worlds. The only problem I've had technically wise is that the bucking gave out after the first couple of months, but the guys at my local store fixed it up. The blowback is extremely loud. Too loud. People come up to me after games and tell me they know exactly when I'm shooting and where I am (but considering I have 1800 rounds of ammo on me, they better not come try anything)

Inner barrel length?
what is the length of the inner barrel? Also would I need to upgrade the internals if I put a 247mm tightbore in it?
