G&G RK 47 AK Blowback AEG Airsoft Rifle (Black)
[R12B00][08271 / EGK-047-BLK-BBB-NCM]
New to airsoft? Here are some safety tips for airsoft guns that we recommend following.
The G&G RK47 Blow back is a great full metal AEG that is sure to impress! The G&G RK47 blow back features a full metal receiver, receiver cover, and barrel assembly along with polymer furniture. The metal used by G&G on this RK47 is extremely high quality and feels very solid when the gun is shouldered. The RK47 features everything that you will find on a real steel AK-47 such as a removable receiver cover, full stock and pistol grip. Electronic blow back reciprocates the bolt of the RK47 with each shot and creates a very realistic and exciting shooting experience. G&G is well known for their high quality internals and this RK47 is no different. The RK47 features a full metal gearbox with metal gears and 8mm bushings for maximum durability and performance. If you are looking for a great reproduction of the AK-47 then the G&G RK47 Blow Back will definitely fit that bill.

This gun is well worth the discounted price of $175 and is the best deal on an airsoft AK right now. I almost got the non-blowback RK47 but then I found this gun, which is relatively new and there are almost no reviews online so here goes:
The gun is heavier than most real ak-47s. Everything is "as" sturdy as a typical ak-47 - given that the handguard and top reciever cover are pretty wobbly but nothing unrealistic. The charging handle recoils further back when BBs are loaded than it seems in the videos above. This gun is much faster than my upgraded custom G&G blowback m4. It accepts basic TM ak-style mags I have tried G&G, Echo 1, CYMA mags and they all work fine.
I have not taken the gearbox apart but I have read this gun has TOP TECH internals like that of the rk101, etc, that is just what I have read, but it does shoot very much superior to a typical combat machines gun.
I want to say what GREAT customer service I received when I bought this gun. After cleaning it and putting it back together, it would not fire correctly - airsoftGI QUICKLY offered to fully replace it, and they also offered to pay for all shipping charges, pretty cool. It went out of stock though so I decided to fix the problem which was simply a bucking issue (gun was sputtering every couple of shots on the ground).
Pros:
400+ fps
High ROF
Barrel length = very good distance, ok accuracy
Supposedly has TOP-TECH
Large Tamiya plug with fuse
Large stock holds basically any battery,
Easy to access hop-up - very similar takedown to real AK-47
STRONG sling loop (very important with a heavy gun)
14MM CCW threads for any flash hider or threaded attatchments
Great steel sound from blowback -entire charging handle moves not just the "blowback system"
Cons:
Not exactly field strip-able as advertised but still not bad. My G&G m4 w/ blowback field strips with a push of a pin and the thing slides apart - hop up comes out boom. This RK47 requires you to remove 4 allen screws, carefully slide the gun apart and then remove 2 more allen screws to access the hop up. I wouldn't do that in the field.
Its pretty sturdy but the handguard does wobble a bit and Im sure there are custom fixes for that, but for the price its not "that kind of wobble" its just what it is.
The charging handle has very little "realistic" charging feel, it just slides back and forth. I have seen some airsoft ak-47s with a great realistic charging handle feel when you cock it back, this is not one of them. However the "realistic" steal sound makes up for it I suppose.
The safety lever covers a large "hole" in the reciever and when on semi or full auto there is about a pinky finger sized space where dirt could get in the inside where the gearbox is, so just don't throw it in the mud like a real one.
