I bought this for my CA M14. While I was able to make it work, it does not fit the CA properly. The cylinder head is larger than the original, making it a very tight fit in a CA mechbox. I was able to finish assembling it, and the gun shoots and works fine. I gained a 60 fps improvement using the same grade spring.

This cylinder head and piston set seems to work well in my G&G M14. It slightly increased the M14's effective range. Its just nice to know that these parts are more durable than the stock pieces. The steel cylinder head is more solid than the factory plastic one and fits VERY tightly into the cylinder. Its nice to have the aluminum piston instead of plastic, especially for good semi-auto guns like the M14. This set was installed along with an M120 spring and it shoots great!

The only good thing about this kit is the cylinder head. Everything else is a cheap plastic or cheap aluminum. After playing one game for an hour I heard a loud crack inside my gearbox. Upon opening the gearbox I was surprised to find that both the piston and piston head had broken. The piston had a crack running down the side of it and several teeth missing. The piston head was broken in two. This is while using an m120 spring and the m14 being set to semi auto only. Thankfully everything else was fine apart from the pieces I had to clean out of the gearbox. You're better off getting a ver 7 cylinder head of the same quality and a better piston/piston head. I suggest a polycarb/aluminum combination of better material. I replaced it with a matrix piston and element head and have not had any problems with those.
Pros:
The cylinder head is the only thing worth getting. I got an additional 40 fps out of my gun after installing this kit.
Cons:
It broke after about an hour of use
