The Emerson SWAT Balaclava is a perfect option if you are looking for something lightweight to help cover and conceal your face and neck, while still giving you a thin extra layer of protection over both. This balaclava is cheap but does the job. It gets cold and moist quick in a forest environment and has a synthetic plastic fiber smell, however neither brambles nor BB's have pierced it thus far and it has good neck protection. Its functionality and durability is surprising given its minimal price tag. Lancer is, in my opinion and experience, one of the better low-budget brands for tactical equipment, and as a piece of cloth with some holes, this guy does the job and looks the part whether you are running SWAT, Army, Marines, or Criminal.

Conforms naturally to a very odd head shape (or at least mine did): you may need to stretch it or work with it a little
Will cause goggles to fog at a higher rate than if it wasn't worn
