Elite Force IWI Competition Tavor TAR-21 AEG Airsoft Rifle (Dark Earth)
[R10B00][15179 / HK-2278051 / 2278051]New to airsoft? Here are some safety tips for airsoft guns that we recommend following.
The Elite Force IWI (Israeli Weapon Industries) Tavor Tar 21 is one of the most innovative guns in the small arms industry; this airsoft gun is based on the rifle the IDF chose to replace the M16. Externally, the Elite Force TAR-21 outer body is constructed from a high strength ABS plastic, which keeps both the gun's overall weight and cost down as well as taking advantage of a bullpup design, which reduces the overall length of the rifle is shorter, while keeping a longer barrel in the inside, because of this, it still uses a standard M4 (363mm) inner barrel. These factors, along with the good hop up and muzzle velocity being around 360FPS make for a great field gun. The gearbox is version 6 layout, and is constructed entirely out of metal, a long with all of the vital parts on the inside, with the polymer internal parts being most of the compression parts, this gives the gearbox good longevity and easily replaceable parts when necessary. Unique to the rifle is the functioning bolt catch that also de-tensions the spring which keeps the spring from losing strength, and reduces stress on the gearbox

The gun has a good FPS. Have used it a few times and have had no problems. Good ROF and the internals seem to be all metal. My only complaint is the magazine gets heavy once you load it with .20 bbs. When you pick the gun out of the box it feels heavy but once you shoulder it it feels pretty light.
Pros:
Good ROF
Nice FPS
Good field or CQB gun
All metal internals
Nice weight
Cons:
Magazine makes the gun 1-2lbs heavier
Very limited rail space(only 1 rail for a sight)
The fire selector gets stuck between safe and semi (which might be only my gun)
This gun is a great starter to a bullpup gun! I would highly recommend more intermediate players to check out the elite series tavor as this one has lower quality plastic, shorter barrel, etc. The metal paint gets worn out easily. The sights are probably the worst thing on this gun I would recommend a optic or keeping them down (your better off) The gun's externals aren't the best. I have had no trouble internal wise. It does the job for mid range but DOMINATES in cqb field. Great budget gun for ppl looking into bullpup rifles!
Pros:
Bullpup design
Ergonomic design
Official trades
Mid range
Perfect for cqb
Affordable price
Sufficient internals(price wise)
Cons:
Proprietary parts
Cheap ABS two piece construction
Bad for long range engagement
Weak points! (Rear cover, handguard cover,)
Little rail space
Grrat starting gun for someone looking into bullpups. I actually bought this as a test to see if I like it because I was looking into the real steel version. Found out I dont want the real thing. Im a lefty and I routinely hit the selector switch since its up against my hand around the grip and also the mag release is way too easy to knock with your wrist and I probably accidently drop the mag while running or ducking a few times a day. A lot of people at the facility love the tavor and get a few people wanting to hold it everytime. Also, it is super consistant at 360fps. Even the workers who chrono say its one of the most consistant guns theyve ever seen. It never varies more than a couple fps. Def getting to the point of wanting to upgrade after 2 years of use but she will become my backup gun because she is super reliable and easy to move around with thru CQB situations
Pros:
Durable, just always works
Consistant FPS
Eye catcher
Short profile
Super quick battery changes
Very lightweight
Easy as can be to disassemble fully and put back together
Cons:
Has a cheap plastic feel
Some of the reversible parts are a pain to switch over
No normal/common sling mount options
Iron sights are worthless
