The ARES H&K SL9 AEG Sniper Rifle Airsoft Gun (Licensed by Umarex) is another great addition to their line of products. The externals are similar to the G36 Variant. The body of the gun is made out of a polymer material to decrease weight but maintain durability. This is great for allowing you to aim longer without the weight bringing you down to fatigue. Additionally, the stock and frame resemble closely to the L96 Sniper Rifle with the thumb hole grip. The stock can be adjusted with the included spacers along with the cheek mount to increase the user's comfort during operation. Attached to the upper receiver is a polymer monolithic top rail which is perfect for mounting any optic of your choice. The outer barrel and barrel extension is a one piece design for the utmost stability and durability. The internals feature the same high quality and high performance parts you would fine in an ARES airsoft gun. The inner barrel length is similar to a PSG1 length at 660mm but in a compact design! Lastly, the gun features an Functioning Blowback System giving the gun a realistic appearance and design! The Elite Force SL9 makes an excellent DMR platform, with its long barrel you will be able to reach further than many stock AEG's on the field.

Great gun!! As a long time airsoft sniper i have always had trouble finding a sniper that i could use in every aspect of my game. Right out of the box you get an epic looking gun that handles great. I Reccommend .25g bbs. Hop up is a little hard to adjust. Had Police pull into my yard was zeroing it in and they thought it was awesome

Got the gun when it first came out felt good. good quality. Has ok range out of the box, expected more. it was difficult to upgrade the inner barrel cause this is one of the longest on the market had to have a shop make a custom ring inside the suppressor because it is hollow and only made for the inner barrel it came with. you can only adjust the hop-up when u take off the mag well, words from the manufacturer. to bad i broke 2 hop ups trying to adjust it. difficult 3 part trigger assemble. and had a failed gearbox and had to get a new one. very tight fit for battery if your not using lipo. bi-pod it came with wouldn't come off after i put it on. if you want a G36 look alike sniper here you go but i would recommend another semi auto sniper if you want to upgrade it.

The gun is pretty sweet and pretty accurate, Its cool its blow back and its a gun you can impress your friends with. Charge the battery and you can shoot it for a couple hours before it dies. It could be better if it had a spring setting to so when the battery dies the fun won't stop.
