Elite Force H&K M27 IAR AEG Airsoft Rifle by VFC (Black)

I own a Gen 1 limited edition IAR. Got it as soon as it became available. It is currently HPA, but I used it as an AEG for quite a while. This is the perfect length AEG for outdoor play. I really like promethous barrels, and used a 6.03 in mine with R-Hop. Absolutely stellar.

If I did it over again, and I mean time machine status back to 2007 when I started playing. I'd by one of these. Leave it pretty much stock. I would do the work to fine tune the air-seal, and R-Hop it. Done. Cool factor AEG that will perform. Don't go upgrade crazy. This thing doesn't need much. Spend the money on going to events and having fun.

I just received this in the mail today. It is awesome!! Extremly sturdy ( I mean its pure metal), i love the finish, the stock, the grip, the sights, all of it. It is a phenomenal gun. I haven't shot it yet but ive added my own scope, grip, and flash light to it and it is a monster. It is a tiny bit on the heavy side but other than that I would reccommend it to anyone.

rail systems are great for your personal customization.

-over all a great gun for serious airsoft players.



Cons:
-The small clip on the charging handle is plastic and if you are not careful it will break easily.
- Weight (its heavy but that may not be a con for you)

IÂ’ve been playing Airsoft for a little while now, and I thought it was time to get my last gun. I wanted something on the higher end, then I thought the M27 would be nice. So I watched/read a lot of reviews on the gun, and it looked pretty solid. So hereÂ’s the bad part. I received a gun that was made in 2015! The gun did NOT come with a mosfet. Now I have to install one. The Piston and Tappet Plate are weak, so I had some Lonex parts installed. I had several nice high cap mags and only one of them worked. So I had to buy some elite force mags. And to top it off, I used the gun ONCE on the field and then put it away during the winter. I take my gun out to shoot it, and itÂ’s not shooting at all! Like thereÂ’s no battery in it. This gun has cost me so much money I didnÂ’t think IÂ’d have to. So before you buy one, I hope you read this.

Pros:
Solid gun
Very good range
ROF with 9.6v NiMH was average.
ROF with 11.1v LiPo was better (I recommend)
Made out high quality material mostly metal
Metal flip-up sights
Good internals for the most part
BBÂ’s feed flawlessly with working mag
Long Rail
Charging handle & bolt catch kinda works
Some players on the field go , ‘Woah, he’s got an M27’

Cons:
Older generations do not have a mosfet
Tappet Plate is weak (highly recommend replacing)
Piston is weak (highly recommend replacing)
DoesnÂ’t take most mags (for me)
Gun doesnÂ’t work after it sits for a couple months
High FPS (mine almost pushes the limit, 405-415)
It gets heavy after running around with it for 4-5 hours
The price is a little expensive, mainly because of the gun model
No mount for a single point sling
Orange tip is tough to get off
