The Competition M4 Gen7 features pre-upgraded internals for better performance and reliability. The tappet plate, which attaches to the air nozzle and sector gear controls how the BBs are fed, has been upgraded and redesigned for more durability and to increase the feeding reliability. It also has a micro-switch trigger than increases trigger response for faster firing.

The Competition CQC M4 Carbine has full metal gears and a version 2 gearbox, both of which can be upgraded. It is capable of consistent 310-320 FPS firing and comes with a 300-round high capacity magazine. Externally, the monolithic-style upper and lower receivers are constructed out of a high-quality nylon fiber polymer. This helps the overall weight of the Elite Force M4 CQC to stay low while allowing the gun to still remain surprisingly durable. Mounted to the upper receiver is a metal quad rail RIS unit that is very compact, but is still perfect for mounting accessories like flashlights, lasers, cameras, or vertical grip.

Towards the rear, the new design push button crane stock is much easier to access the battery compartment compared to traditional stocks. This stock is also adjustable, allowing the user to change the overall length of the gun to fit their play style. The stock on the CQC Competition M4 is about four inches shorter than the CQB M4, which allows you to thrive in even smaller indoor or outdoor spaces. Finally, the monolithic top rail is perfect for mounting the included Elite Force flip-up sights, or any of your favorite optics.
