Elite Force Beretta ARX160 Competition Carbine AEG Airsoft Rifle (Black)
[Q13D00][16641 / HK-2274082 / 2274082]New to airsoft? Here are some safety tips for airsoft guns that we recommend following.
The Beretta ARX160 is a unique airsoft gun and a great addition to Elite Force's impressive lineup of AEG's. The Beretta ARX160 Competition Variant is a part of Elite Force's more affordable line. Externally the upper and lower receiver are made out of a strong polymer material. The folding stock allows for easy storage or entry around tight corners. The four position retractable stock offers the user comfort when using their rifle. The monolithic upper rail allows the user to mount their optic at any given point for proper eye relief. Railed sections on the left, right, and lower portion of the gun are perfect for mounting flashlights, lasers, vertical grips, and other accessories. The ambidextrous fire selector, magazine catch, bolt catch, and charging handle offer the user flexibility when transitioning. Internally, the Beretta ARX160 features a steel gear set, nylon piston and piston head, aluminum cylinder, 7mm metal bushings, and micro switch trigger assembly. The micro switch trigger assembly allows for better response and faster follow up shots.

I received this gun as part of the summer chiller mystery box about 6 months ago. It is very user friendly and is easy to use and access all necessary parts(gearbox, inner barrel, spring etc) the gun is light and is very ergonomic. I think even more so than a standard m4. The only problem is the hop-up is proprietary so if you get this gun be careful about the hop up once you break it, you basically have a husk.
The hop up problem is the only reason why it is not a five star gun
Pros:
Very ergonomic
User friendly
Easy to access parts
Light but sturdy
Good range and accuracy
Cons:
Hop up broke in 6 months and only one hop up
No other cons
This ARX160 is a great gun, you can use this in field too with a bigger battery and maybe just a better spring, I did a chrono test with .20 g bbs and a 8.4v battery and it shot at 350-365 just like the elite line so definitely going to use this for field. Just need optics, a grip, and a flashlight and a laser.
Pros:
• shoots hard
• can use for both CQB and field
• Compatible with M4 magazines
• can change barrel
• flip up sights
• ambidextrous
Cons:
• be careful with the stock BECUASE of the wires
• the rail under the gun is slightly short
The ARX was my favorite gun in CoD, and I love it in siege, so i got an airsoft one. I know it's not a super expensive gun but it feels pretty good and im happy with how it shoots. Glad it takes m4 mags cuz i have a bunch.

I need more infor
I would like to know IN DETAIL what the difference is between the $275 ARX and the $165 ARX please. I know it's allot to ask but if I am gonna buy it I need this info. For instance.
Is the body exactly the same on both gun's
Is the gearbox shell the exact same on both guns
I assume the internals of the gearbox are different and one does not have blowback but other than that whats the difference?

Staff Answer:
Body: The body on the Competition is made mostly of abs plastic. The body on the Elite line is made of polymer. The Elite uses a rear hinge butt stock system similar to the VFC scar to hide wires, the Competition line simple just runs the wires through a hole in the stock.

Internals: The 7mm Gearbox is the same and both have a microswitch, but the internal build is better on the Elite line which has bearings, metal teeth piston, and heat treated steel gears. The Competition line does not have these.

Other: The Competition line does not feature blowback, but does have a functioning bolt catch for the faux bolt, which does lock back. The Elite line has blowback, that will lock back if you manually pull the charging handle. It too has a functioning bolt catch. 3935 days ago 1
