Initial opening went well. I went out to my make-shift field in my back yard (14 acres) with the fella's. Fires well and is surprisingly accurate for its size. Crono's 357FPS. We play a game or two and it was getting late...headed back to the house. I go to clean it and the left side rail flops over and is held on by one star nut. At that point i realize that both star nuts were completely stripped. Shy of having both holes re-threaded or replacing the entire front rail system i'm screwed. Needless to say, Ill be sending GI a email shortly. I didnt even get the chance to send my warranty card through the mail. So where does that leave me? I appreciate that folks!

Ultimately, its a solid build but the QC people at either GI or Echo 1 didn't do their job!

Cons:
There aren't alot of cons other than the one I mentioned above. Stripped out rail system!
Its kinda heavy if you care about that kind of thing.

Great gun for cqb environment. Overall shooting capabilities exceeded expectations. The gun functions well as a room clearing weapon and can hold its own in outdoor environments as well. The gun is pretty heavy for a weapon of its size, some weapons that should be heavier are lighter than this gun. There are no sights and I strongly recommend getting some while you can. I appreciate I that there are no sights as I would just replace the sights with a red dot anyways. The mage are awesome because they fit perfectly in my plate carrier's pouches made for AR mags. Also, the selector switch is backwards to the G36; moreover, when I wrap my thumb around, the selector gets bumped to semi. Lastly, the gun is a head turner. Everyone sees it and comments about how awesome it looks and shoots, even though most of it is out of box, except for the red dot and fore grip.

Zero profile when shouldered, even with the stock out.

The screw that holds the lever for the le stock kept falling out and has finally fallen out after tightening multiple times.
Huge orange ugly flash hider (orange is not the issue the flash hider is bad)
No fore grip included or integrated.
Fps was a little high for cqb fields

I bought the sob2 a few weeks ago to play cqb at the local field and this thing kicks butt! My faith is restored in Echo1 this is a very solid gun with a great feel. I upgraded to a 2000mah 9.6 battery that I keep in a mock PEQ box on the ever so handy rails. The bottom rail that is removed to adjust the hopup wiggles ever so slightly which can be annoying with my vertical grip but I don't even notice it during a game. Shoots a solid 350fps so it's great for cqb. This gun is pretty accurate with the hopup adjusted though I plan to get a tight bore barrel to improve even more. I plan on also using this for backyard woods games and am confident it has enough reach/accuracy do do pretty well. Great gun, solid buy. No regrets.

Weight is... Realistictic, it weighs more then my brothers full size g&g m4. This is a plus for some but it gets tiresome, especially with the stock off/folded
Comes with 2 excellent hi-caps! No wiggle at all and feed great!

Cons:
Slight wiggle on lower rail
Needs a peq box for battery upgrades. I don't mind but I had to buy one.
My hand knocks it out of full auto and into semi. I think that happens with all mp5 style guns though it's the position of the fire selector
Does not come with sites but I don't use them anyway. Tried a red dot but it was mostly for looks.
Stock mags need to be broken in a bit to be loaded in smoothly. This is because of the tight fit but it isn't a problem after putting them in/removing them 10 or so times.
