This is the top part of the OEM 2-Piece Hop Up Unit for the Echo 1 M4 / M16. This product does not include the feeding nozzle from the magazine to the chamber, this is only the top part which houses the barrel and hop up bucking. This unit only works with the plastic body M4.

This is a terrible hop up unit. It works as a quick fix, but nothing else. It is fragile, and flimsy. You should instead save up and buy a metal body/hop up.

Certainly not bad but it isn't great. This unit came in my M4 and works okay but isn't quiet worth $17. If you break it you are better off just getting a different one if you can. BE VERY VERY CAREFUL changing out the barrel because the spacer in this is clear and VERY hard to get back in and to find, so if you are getting a new barrel I would suggest also purchasing a new spacer just in case. I would never have found mine if I hadn't stepped on it when I was getting dressed this morning, otherwise our housekeeper would have swept it up and I would never have seen it again.

Is there a metal version of this product?
This part was the original hop up unit I got with my jg m4 and it broke. I was hoping there was a metal version of this hop up design so I could avoid buying an entirely new body for my m4
