Echo 1 M28 Bolt Action Spring Sniper Airsoft Rifle (Black)
[P06D00][07404 / ECHO SNIPER M28 V2 BLK (JP-56)]New to airsoft? Here are some safety tips for airsoft guns that we recommend following.
The Echo 1 M28 sniper rifle is Echo 1's latest addition to the sniper rifle market. Echo 1 really out did them selves with this rifle, the M28 features a fluted barrel that not only makes the rifle look great but also reduces the overall weight of the barrel without risking structural integrity. The M28's stock features a lightly textured finish for improved grip; the stock is made completely out of polymer and features an adjustable butt pad to fit the rifle to the user. Internally the rifle is top notch, shooting upwards of 500 fps this gun is ready to go right out of the box. The gun achieves this velocity with its highly durable trigger box and great air seal, the M28 also features inner barrel spacers to decrease barrel vibration and flex therefore increasing accuracy and consistency. The Echo 1 M28 is also compatible with the Airsoft GI PE Reinforced Sear Set and Airsoft GI CNC Short and long Rail Mount. Echo 1 really knocked this one out of the park, making the M28 the best out of the box airsoft sniper rifle available.

I recently ordered this gun, and although it is generally well spoken about, it surprised me. At 60ft with .28 gram BB's I can get groupings within 1.5 inches, and at 100 feet it widens out about an inch more. For a completely stock gun it is extremely accurate and with an upgraded piston and sear set, the slam fire problem that is commonly experienced with this model (due to the high power spring and plastic stock piston) it wont be a problem. Definitely would recommend to someone who can pull back a heavy spring and carry a heavy gun.
- Also, Mine came with the threaded barrel adapter although in the description it says that it doesn't. However the stock tip (under the orange plastic tip) requires a 1.5mm hex screwdriver to remove and is extremely difficult to do so without scratching anything.
Pros:
Extremely accurate with stock barrel
High quality externals with decent stock internals
Powerful
Overall good gun and worth the purchase
Cons:
Heavy (with scope and bipod, it is over 10 pounds)
Heavy spring (500+ fps comes at a price)
Bipod isn't a field accessory, it's too unstable to trust in a game. It is more for target practice/zeroing
Hop up sticker is on backwards (which caused some confusion at first but doesn't effect performance)
I bought this gun about a year ago, and right out of the box it was great, very accurate with .28's. Bit of a heavy spring pull which for me required me to pull my head out of the scope every time I cycled the bolt. After I few months and about 6 games of use, it started slam firing. It was once every mag at first, but within I week it would only slam fire. Took it to the local airsoft field and had it repaired in their pro shop, then within two weeks of getting it back it was slam firing again. The plastic internals are too weak for the powerful stock spring.
I suggest upgrading the cylinder and trigger internals to something if higher quality within a few months of buying it. But I bought this gun because I didn't want to have to upgrade anything to play with it. A JG Bar 10 with an extra 100$ of upgrades thrown in would probably be a better route to go if you are looking to upgrade your gun, because parts for the M28 are harder to find.
Pros:
Shoots hard and accurate out of the box
Good external build quality
Cons:
Bad long term reliability (unless upgraded)
Weak stock internals
Heavy
Easily broken magazines
I have the m28 about a year and a half and have no problems of slam fire, i check the piston and sears but there's no any scratches or wearing piston, the only things that wear out is the bb stopper and the spring has reduce fps. Very accurate at long distance even with .02, thanks to my own made long spacer to reduce vivaration
Pros:
Strong build
Accuracy
High fps
Cons:
I don't know if my m28 came good from stock, because i have no complain with it

Staff Answer:
Stock barrel length is 517mm, the suppressor is ~12" in length. <BR><BR> You may want to do some testing with various inner barrel lengths, as too long of a barrel can actually result in decreased accuracy and range. <BR><BR> Keep in mind that any modification to the gun will void Airsoft GI/Manufacturer warranties. 3553 days ago 0
