The Echo 1 2-in-2 M203 is a replica of the famed M203 grenade launcher used by the U.S. armed forces all over the world. It attaches to the barrel of the M16 requiring the removal of the bottom hand guard. This is a solid unit, almost everything is made of metal, except the hand guard which is plastic for a comfortable grip. For best results a one piece barrel should be installed for a solid mounting point. There is no better way to add menace and realism to your M4/M16 than to add the Echo 1 M203 BB Shower Grenade Launcher.

I think this is a very good grenade launcher. It has some down sides but I think that it's pros out way the cons. I own a Jing Gong M4 6604 I think and it fits pretty well but you will have to play with the battery to get it to fit in the top instead of the bottom and have to push around the wires just a little. I hooked mine up to the barrel instead of a rail and one thing I didnt like was that I had to pry the front latch open with a butter knife and because of that I just used a black twisty tie to connect the latch. I highly recommend this Launcher and the Mad Bull XM204HP King BB Grenade Shell.
Pros:
Full metal
Long enough for the King Grenade
Looks great
Everyone will fear you
Cons:
As heavy as my gun (but that isnt a con to me, though some people might think so)
Hard to get on at first
Comes with no instructions
I retract my previous review of this launcher, as I didn't have much knowledge of it's operation and therefore, could not reach an accurate conclusion. This launcher is great, and is easy to install once you figure it out. It does not come with any instruction, so you must be persistent when installing this should it be your first time doing so. M203 launchers do add considerable weight and bulkiness to your gun, but they also are an advantage when in certain CQB situations.
The thing that I personally enjoy about this launcher is that you can just detach it from an RIS if you wish to not use it and jut stuff it in a backpack, mag pouch (if it fits) etc. and use it at a later time when you need it.
This item is honestly a matter of personal preference. You do NOT need a grenade launcher to improve your gameplay. I honestly have too much equipment and forget to use the thing most of the time. If you like a heavy gun, this is definitely for you.
Pros:
Sturdy, solid construction
All metal parts (except handguard)
Amazing build quality for the price
Takes all types of Madbull grenades, even the King grenade
Self explanatory and easy to operate
Easily detachable via RIS system (if you don't need it during combat)
Scares the hell out of the enemy team (Major plus...)
Cons:
Big and bulky (although, what do you expect with an M203?)
Weighs gun down considerably
No instructions
Hard to figure out how to install for first time users
I went into the Airsoft GI store to buy a launcher, and the employee helping me suggested this one for my needs. It turns out that by the time I made the two hour drive back home and tried to put the thing on my gun, it didn't fit! I was beyond disappointed, as the store employee told me that everything would fit my gun, which was a standard G&G Top Tech M4 model. Specifically, the latch on the front did not attach to my barrel the back part that goes into the delta ring crushed my wires for my battery compartment. I asked the employee when I was at the store if he could put it on to see if it would work, (being that I knew nothing about mounting a launcher on my gun), but he insisted that I go home and figure it out myself. I've seen other launchers with a simpler design rather than a latch that I could not figure out how to unlatch to attach it to the barrel. This has to be one of the worst designs I've seen on a launcher. In addition, it add a considerable amount of weight to my M4 which made it much harder to run around with and pop in and out of corners.
Pros:
All metal design, except handguard
Easy to use
Extremely safe trigger mechanism
Allows for the use of a RIS system
Cons:
Doesn't fit my G&G Top Tech M4 Carbine
Crushes crane stock battery wires
Cannot get front top latch open for the life of me
No instructions
Extremely confusing install for first time users
