The ECHO 1 Full Metal Special Operations Branch (SOB) Swordfish MK5K is a revolutionary new option from our friends over at ECHO 1. They have taken the already immensely popular MK5K platform, and made it even better. They've added the Swordfish rail kit, which provides a full length top rail perfect for the addition of any optics, as well as side and bottom rail sections that are perfect for adding other accessories like vertical grips, lights, and/or lasers. The gun also features a six-position crane stock that adjusts to make it fit most any player, and a straightened magazine that gives the gun an almost UMP-type look, but is still compatible with standard MK5 magazines. The SOB big is the more field-type version of this airsoft gun.

I recently purchased this gun and was immediately thrilled upon opening the box. I love the realistic weight and great rof, however there were a few concerns such as the INSANE stock wobble. When you aim down with it you can barely tell, but it is still (easily fixable) but at times frustrating cosmetic issue. Do not let this discourage you from purchasing it. This gun is simply put, amazing. I have been through 6+ hours of intense gameplay in snow, rain, sleet, dirt, mud and rough terrain and the gun had no problems at all. The gun is excellent for anyone looking to play CQB and/or field.
Pros:
-Heavy (Could be a pro or con, depending on what you like)
-Ambidextrous
-Two magazines
-Great Rof (I recommend a 9.6 nunchuck)
-Dual magazine release
-Completely and utterly solid body
-Awesome rail guards
-Good fps (400-410 with .20 370-380 with .25)
-Low profile (good for CQB)
Cons:
-Hard to open the battery compartment
-Uncanny stock wobble (which i'm working on fixing)
-No iron sights (doesn't matter with an optic)
-Low mag capacity
-Mags are expensive/ish
-Polymer lower receiver (could be a pro or con, i'd personally rather it be metal

This gun is built very well with the metal an polymer parts. The polymer isnt what you get on the much cheaper guns, its very solid and feels like if you do drop it, it wont break. it has amazing range for the short barrel inside it and shoots incredibly well for its size. The gun makes a louder pop when it shoots adding to the intimidation factor. only gripe is the mags are hard to come by, but I havent tried regular mp5 mags in this gun yet so i cant say for sure that they are hard to come by. Overall amazing gun and well worth every penny.

stock adapter wobbles slightly
other than that nothing.
This is the best sub machine gun there is.

can i fit a madbull halo surpressur on this or do i need to take of the flash hider (also is it 14mm CCW threaded)
