The G&G L85A1 is by far the best L85 airsoft replica available on the market. The receiver and barrel assembly are constructed from metal. The pistol grip, cheek rest, hand guard, and butt pad are olive drab polymer. The carry handle and front sight are both removable for the addition of an optics. And, it comes ready for the addition of a sling; there is a front and rear sling attachment point on the left side of the airsoft gun. The G&G even features a replica gas piston rod and a functional dust cover. The L85 also has a unique functioning blow back system. The bolt actually blows back when the trigger is pulled. This feature alone makes the G&G L85 A1 a collectors item, experienced players will truly appreciate this collectors piece.

The Bomb!!
I bought this gun around Christmas and have done some skirmishes with it. All I can say is it is very functional and fun. The electric blowback has no "kick" effect though, but the way it's set up it will not waste you battery life. And when the bolt is back the hop-up and gearbox are exposed. So if you would like to disable the blowback to protect the internals from sand/dirt, I stripped mine and took out the bolt latch to the gearbox. Everything will function such as the bolt-release, chargin handle and such just the blowback will be disabled.
The bullpup design gives the 509mm barrel a good fit in a gun that measures only 3 inches longer than an mp5. Any M4 mags will work I use the cheap NC Star plastic ones. Another astonishing gun from G&G.
