These mag pouches are great for anyone running an MP5 or similar style sub-machine gun. The clips are much better on the battlefield, especially if you are trying to remain quiet. They require a bit of breaking in at first, but once you are past this period, the mags fit snugly and securely inside. The clips are also adjustable for different mag shapes and sizes.
Pros:
Clip system instead of Velcro straps
Mags fit securely
Pretty good size for MOLLE attachment
Cons:
Requires a bit of a break in period(I recommend leaving the mags inside the pouches when not in use)
When opened, the clips flop around a bit and can get in the way and make noise
This pouch is an excellent product for the price. The it is well made, works beautifully and looks great. My MK5/MP5 mags fit snugly, and the velcro and buckle system keeps them in the pouch.
The pouch did require some breaking in, but I remedied that by leaving the mags in the pouch for a while. It is also not the easiest pouch to reload with, since you have to undo the buckle and the velcro.
Overall, great pouch, and I highly recommend this it to anyone using an MP5/MK5.
Pros:
Excellent material quality.
Keeps your magazines from jostling around.
Affordable.
Cons:
Needs to be broken in. (Easily fixed)
Not the fastest thing to reload with.
I bought this for my kwa mp9 mags recently and they were impossible to shove the bulky mags in. I cut all the pointless straps and Velcro off of the interior of the pouch. Now it looks pretty weird with pointless patches of Velcro on it cause I removed the straps. I suggest you don't do this if you want to use it for mp5 mags and mp9 mags.
Pros:
Great now because of removing the straps the mags fit very easily and are easy to pull out
Cons:
doesn't really need the extra straps inside the pouch but is awesome and works fine

Will these pouches hold WE 50-rnd extended Hi-capa magazines securely?
I run with a G&G MP5 and a KJW 1911 hi-capa, and I have two MP5 mags and one extended hi-capa magazine that I can't fit anywhere on my kit with my current pouch setup, and this just might be exactly the pouch I'm looking for.
