This is a perfect buy for the beginning airsofter or advanced player. I got this rig after purchasing a plate carrier, and there is HUGE difference.
Pros:
It's very light and durable, perfect for summer games. Also, it is covered in Molle, so it it easy to customize this.
Cons:
There are pluses and minuses to everything. The lack of protection in the chest region offers more mobility but less protection.
Overall, I LOVE this rig and you should buy it ASAP.
A good starting rig to begin with if you are starting in airsoft. The buckles in the front makes it easy to remove after a long game in the summer heat. The rig offers mobility, perfect if you intend to run a lot on the field.
Pros:
Has enough molle space if you are only interested in bringing magazines into the field. Using double stacked mag pouches, you can have enough molle space to carry 12 m4 mags onto the field (6 on both sides).
Can detach the back and place a condor hydration carrier if you need water
Good ventilation if you play in hot climates
Cons:
Has enough molle space to get the job done but not enough if you intend to fully customize
The width of the molle strip closest to the front buckles were thinner than the others. It becomes a struggle trying to attach my mag pouches using that specific strip.
I've owned this particular rig for a little over half a year and have played several games with it in varying climates. This Rig is extremely light weight and is best utilized as a platform for highspeed/minimal loadouts. The split ribcage design of the chest pannel allows you to quickly put on and take off the rig in just seconds for that relief we all crave inbetween or after games. Each rib of the front pannel provides enough real estate for mags and misc. pouches. The pannels themselves contaon a velcro-held webbing on the inside to insert things like maps or a deadrag. The shoulder straps are integrated into the back pannel and attach themselves to the ribs using some pretty durable polymer buckles. I have dove and taken point blankbshots to these buckles and they havent broken ever, with the exception of slight cosmetic damage. There is velcro and molle on the shoulders which can accomodate pistol mag or multitool type pouches. The back pannel is a padded h-harness and is very comfortable with enough real estate for buddy pouches, emt pouches or even small hydration carriers. There is a full sized harness with an integrated hydration carrier for sale here on airsoftgi design for this rig if you are thirsty. All in all i would say this rig is definitely worth its price. It is ideal for hot environments and keeps your profile small.
Pros:
-lightweight
-breathable
-molle to size ratio
-low profile
-durable (but that doesnt mean you should abuse it, cmon guys, take care of those rigs :D)
-affordable
-looks great (imo)
-many adjustment points for all body types
Cons:
-split rib cage design means you are sacrificing molle real estate forbreathability
-for those of you who play on hotter shooting fields, the mininalist design doesnt protect you much when it comes to close quarters engagements. (It doesnt hurt for most of us, but it will raise questions as to why you have a bunch of red dots on your chest and middle tummy when you go to the beach or something)
-weight distribution needs to be spot on or the rig may shift on your torso when you sprint or make hairpin turns (this doesnt happen often, and hardly ever if you treat this rig as a light weight, highspeed setup, like it was intended)
