The Condor Outdoor Pistol Lanyard is a high quality retention device made by Condor right here in the U.S.A.! This piece attaches to your rig and your pistol in the case that it falls out of your holster. The lanyard is just over 36" long when fully extended. Therefore, depending on how tall you are and if rigged properly, this lanyard will actually keep your pistol from hitting the ground should it fall out of your holster accidentally. This is another well designed product from Condor Outdoor.

This lanyard really does the job well. Compared to other retention lanyards within the similar price range, this one in particular has a thicker cord and bungee and helps keep even some of the heaviest handguns safely secured. The metal clip with which it is used to attach to the handgun fits most handgun models well. I use it on my KJW Sig Sauer P226 and even being a full metal gun I have no problems with the retention of this lanyard. It is well worth the investment, especially if you don't have a great holster. Don't wanna take the chance of dropping your handgun in the field and break or lose it.
Pros:
Thick cord and bungeeto deal with heavier handguns
Metal clip is easy attach and fits well on most models
Competitive price
Velcro attachment to either a belt or whatever rig you're using
Cons:
The thick cord can sometimes get in the way of your gear or snag on things
It can be a pain to attach to certain models of handguns
I have a feeling that the metal clip will probably wear out (it's not super thick metal)
