I used this for a mil-sim event this past month, and wow this came in handy from carrying a empty mags, to carrying water bottles(didnt want to carry my cammel bak). i would highly recommend getting this for putting on your belt, even if you dont think you'll need it. one of the best pieces of gear i have bought.
Pros:
-Big
-cheap
-well built
-multi-use
Cons:
none that I can think of
Basic all purpose utility pouch. I use it to store my kill rag, gloves, water bottle, as well as overflow magazines (ie: more than my typical load), and empty mags if I don't have a dump pouch. When its empty its great because its flat and doesn't block you from going prone. I have mine set up on my rig so that its slightly off center to my right so that it doesn't get in the way of my climbing harness as well as so when it is full and I go prone it doesn't prop me up too much or crush anything. Velcro is nice and if you REALLY need to stuff allot in the straps are very adjustable and hold whatever you might need. Overall excellent. My pro's and con's summarize my thoughts on it and add a few other points.
Pros:
-Large capacity
-Very flat profile when not filled up or empty
-Velcro + Straps to snap shut are very useful
-Velcro on the front for patches (although depending on where you put it sort of a strange spot for a patch!)
-Great alternative for a dump pouch attached to your rig
-Holds pretty much anything, I can fit 6 M4 mags in it
Cons:
-The clips to the straps dangle when not in use and if you go prone they tend to stab into you, just a reminder. Also they sometimes get caught on things.
-For smaller rigs its harder to find the right spot to allow you to go prone.
-While it fits M4 mags, generally its easier to use dedicated M4 mag pouches as youll likely end up fumbling for mags!
I bought this item along with a vest at an Army-Navy surplus store to support a local business, not knowing the fact that ASGI is cheaper. I could honestly say this pouch is worth the $11 @ ASGI and even the $13 I paid at the Army-Navy surplus store. I would recommend this to a friend ,because it's so useful as a pouch to store extra BBs and really anything you need it to...EVEN MAGS!!!
Pros:
A. HUGE!!! B. Can store almost anything ,even mags C. Velcro and buckle closure means you don't have to worry about stuff falling out D.Velcro space for patch [when you buy this the velcro will be protected by a hook-type velcro pad]
Cons:
A. Takes up 4x4 MOLLE space [But, when I said huge you should've expected that] B. Pouch kind of gets in my way sometimes [I just put it far to one side ,which helps] C. Velcro is loud and double closure makes access longer [just don't close buckles ,the velcro will be enough]

(I have this same question)
Staff Answer:
While that pouch isn't designed for that hydration bladder, there appears to be enough space to put one inside. 3942 days ago 0
