New to airsoft? Here are some safety tips for airsoft guns that we recommend following.

Description:
Classic Army originally built this model to be used as a rental airsoft gun at a field. However, the field has backed down from the deal and decided to pass the deal on, so Airsoft GI was only able to acquire the airsoft gun. This bundle will be in brand new and unused condition without the original packaging. Airsoft GI has included a Classic Army E3 1-3 Cell Lipo Balance Charger $29.99 MSRP and a I Power 7.4v 1100mAh 2s 20c LiPO Stick Battery $15.99 MSRP. Altogether, this combo package is a fantastic deal for those looking for a brand new airsoft gun with a lipo battery and balance charger.

The Skirmish Delta 10 is Classic Army's entry level railed carbine. Utilizing Classic Army's nylon fiber allows for a lighter weight platform while ensuring playable durability in a cost efficient package. The M4 Delta 10 Skirmish features a high rate of fire along with a 300rd high capacity magazine so you can put more BBs on target faster than you can count. The 10" rail system has top picatinny rail and a bottom keymod rail. The sides of the handguard will accept add-on modular rail segments. Front and rear flip up sights are included with plenty of rail space for you to mount a scope. It has a quicker change spring system so that you can quickly and easily upgrade or downgrade your spring once you remove the gearbox from the receiver.

Internally, the gun has a 9mm bushing gearbox, inline mosfet protected trigger contacts, 6.03mm tightbore barrel, and a quicker change spring system. It will shoot 300+ FPS using 0.20g BBs and 900-1000 rpm using a 9.6V battery.

Product Information:
I’ve purchased 3 of the new Classic Army Skirmish line AEGs, mainly due to the decent stock internals and very good performance to price ratio that this line offers. Unfortunately 2 out of the 3 AEGs sounded like complete crap directly out of the box, and were shooting well under the 350 FPS that they should be shooting at (both around 275 FPS immediately out of the box). Those 2 AEGs were the EC2 and the Delta, which sounded horribly shimmed, if at all, and clearly had a significant air leak somewhere in the cylinder system.

After a little simple tech work, both of those AEGs were shooting quite well, and certainly paralleled in performance compared to some of my expensive and high end AEGs. Quite honestly, I prefer using the nylon fiber polymer bodies of the Skirmish line simply due to the convenience of the light weight and also not having to work about potentially chipping the paint job (i.e. Krytac Trident series). I initially bought the EC2 for my wife, and so impressed with it that I bought 2 more for an indoor gun and/or for spare parts.

Overall, I would definitely recommend any of the CA Skirmish line AEGs, as you’re getting quite a lot of performance for a very small price tag, especially the non retail package deal that AirsoftGI is offering...however that being said, you will definitely want to familiarize yourself with diagnosing, troubleshooting and repairing basic gearbox issues, as it’s extremely likely that you’ll want to reassemble and optimize the gearbox, since the factory assembly is god awful and massively negatively affects the out-of-the-box performance.

This gun offers a great base for upgrading as well...the only truly “necessary” upgrades I’d recommend when your budget allows for it are an aluminum cylinder head with 2 o rings, a matching aluminum nozzle with internal o ring, a higher RPM neodymium motor, 8mm ball bearing bushings for gearbox, a better soft type bucking with a flat-hop nub (I installed the Modify Baton Ryusoku bucking with flathop nub).

Pros:
Excellent price to performance ratio
One of the most affordable MOSFET AEGs available
Low resistance wiring
6.03 tight-bore
Rotary hop-up with numerical dial (very nice for being polymer...very similar to Krytac hop-ups)
Hardwired to Deans and has a compact Deans to Mini Tamiya preinstalled
Durable gear set
Quality gearbox shell, with a convenient quick-change spring
Spring guide is metal with a Teflon-like polymer coating
Plenty of space in stock for 7.4v 1200 mah lipo
Durable and sturdy high quality nylon fiber exterior (not “cheap feeling” whatsoever and doesn’t flex or bend)
Orange flash hider (plastic) wasn’t terribly hard to remove after heating it with blow dryer (14mm negative threads)

Cons:
2 out of the 3 Skirmish AEGs sounded horrific out of the box and shot 75 FPS below their 350 FPS capability with stock spring (see below for necessary fixes)
- Definitely needed reshimming, both gearboxes sounded truly awful and very noisy
- Needed complete resealing of cylinder...cylinder heads were extremely loose and largely contributed to air leaks (AKA FPS loss)
- O ring on piston was way too tight and needed to be stretched out over cylinder and briefly heated with lighter flame
- Spring on top of hop-up needed to be stretched out a bit to push hop-up into the nozzle/gearbox when assembled
- Gearbox overall was not adequately greased...definitely re-lube with silicone grease

After these simple fixes the two AEGs sounded dramatically better and significantly improved the overall air seal and thus the FPS. Both of them were consistently shooting 348-350 FPS and both had a slight improvement in ROF due to friction reduction by proper shimming, gear meshing and lubrication.

Upgrades Recommended:
- Aluminum Cylinder Head with double O-rings (especially if you can’t get a decent air seal with the plastic stock cylinder head that has a single O-ring)
- Higher RPM Neodymium Motor (the CA Motor in these says 35,000 RPM)...I installed an SHS High Speed in the EC1 and achieved 25 RPS with stock 18:1 gears on a 7.4 lipo which is plenty fast for my needs
