I purchased the CAM100P from my local pro-shop and not Airsoft GI, and have been using the CAM100P extensively since it first hit the market in early 2016. This gun is built like a tank and is heavy for its size with everything being made of metal accept for the pistol grip and the forward grip which are made from high strength polymer, and the blaze orange flash hider which is molded soft plastic. The front and rear flip-up sights are also made of metal unlike many others that I have seen and can easily be removed/re-positioned with a standard flat-head screwdriver.
Along with the solid construction of the gun mine consistently shoots right at 360fps with .20 gram BBs which is the upper limit for most of the CQB fields I have played at, and the gun is loud without needing an amplifier. This gun is so loud that I have on several occasions have had reffs take my gun and re-chrono between matches because other players where claiming that my gun was shooting over the field limit due to how loud it sounds.
The only complaint that I have with M100P is that due to the size of the gun the battery compartment is in the forward hand guard. To access the battery compartment you must remove the for hex screws that are located in the side rails and then slide the lower portion forward over the flash hider. The battery compartment is very small requiring a split panel 7.4v 1000 mha battery to be used. However the wires leading the small Tamiya connector have a quick disconnect point allowing the Tamiya connector to be ran outside of the hand guard to a PEQ style battery box allowing for a larger flash hider and/or silencer to be used with the gun.
On the GI website it states that a "Tactical Retractable Crane Stock" comes with the M100P, this is not the case. However the Classic Army A412P M4 6 Position Collapsible Stock with Buffer Tube - Short Version can be purchased for between $30 to $40 USD depending on the retailer. The buffer tube that comes with the A412P stock simply replaces the sling adapter at the rear of the gun and I would recommend the Magpul PTS ASAP Ambidextrous Sling Attachment Point (Airsoft GI part number: PT016490300) if you add on the optional stock.
Pros:
Perfect size for CQB environments
Solid construction
Accurate
Works with most M4 Mid-caps including the PTS M4 mags
Comes pre-upgraded.
Can be used single handed without loss of accuracy due to its size.
Cons:
Extremely small battery space in forward hand guard requiring a split panel battery.
Dose not come with a stock (Not really a con, but some players prefer to have a stock).
