[SF20][01033 / P108M / CA-P108M]
New to airsoft? Here are some safety tips for airsoft guns that we recommend following.
The Classic Army Box Mag for the M249 functions the exact same way the Top version does. It has an auto winding feature with a button at the bottom of the mag and is powered by a single 9volt battery. Press the button to wind the mag and then fire! This magazine is recommended for use with Classic Army M249 guns only. These magazines may work with other brands but they cannot be guaranteed by Airsoft GI.

feeds well, plastic feels kinda flimsy but i havnt had one break yet and this is my second one to carry around for big ops so
Pros:
Cons:

Classic Army 2500rd box mag. Im using this in a a&k m249 mk2 running at ~23-24rps. Works well and the internals are beefier than the a&k box. For people that dont know becasue apparently none of the websites advertise it, this is full automatic feeding! this has a load sensor in it so if you click the button on the bottom, it will load until it feels resistance than stop. Then when you fire it will automatically start to wind again. This is not always on/off and it is not sound activated. Works great in mine.
Pros:
- Automatic winding that is reliable
- beefier internals (360 servo instead of the 130 size motor and gear train in the a&k box)
- Runs off a single 9v
Cons:
- Mine came without the 2 screws that hold the guts of the box to the shell itself which is really annoying for the price of the box
- 30-40 more than the a&k version even though it appears to be simpler to produce?

Do I have to leave the button on because the sound of the auto loading might give my position away in a game
I recently bought the box magazine and I want to know if I have to leave the magazine on for the magazine to work

It wont load without the magazine turned on. You will need it on to shoot. 2469 days ago 0

Is this a better option than the magazine thst comes with the A&K 249 para?
I've had an issue with the bbs falling down into the motor/battery area and I am looking at alternatives

Staff Answer:
It is a far better option in our opinion. The only issue is that the mag will be an extremely tight fit into the mag slot. 2557 days ago 0
