Classic Army CA18 MK18 M4 AEG Airsoft Rifle (Black)
[R06C00][32896 / CA-CA117M / CA117M]New to airsoft? Here are some safety tips for airsoft guns that we recommend following.
The Classic Army CA18 is the next platform in a long line up of Classic Army M4s to deliver on a military specification carbine. The fully monolithic quad rail is capable of mounting any and all of your accessories how ever you chose while maintaining a tight fit and overall lightweight rifle. The crane style stock delivers plenty of battery space to fit your choice of NIMH or LIPO batteries with ease while still being able to full extend or collapse the stock to fit your size needs. Low resistance wires, steel gears, and a quick-change spring designed gearbox are all additional features to extend the life and play of this carbine.
The MK18Mod1 is a perfect blend for both close quarters and midrange work since this 10inch rifle is short enough to be maneuverable in compact spaces but packs enough punch for longer ranges. Bore up internals, a one-piece metal hop up featuring a locking wheel and a tight-bore barrel ensure that you can propel your choice in BBs out to a significant distance that rivals the more expensive competition.
Pro Tip: We recommend that the magazines stay wound at all times to insure proper feeding.

Pretty solid rifle, with great internals, including an electronic trigger and mosfet.
Pros:
Solid metal.body.
Great internals.
Good accuracy .
Cons:
Mags wobble, and make lots of noise.
Stock wobbles, and makes noise.
A lot of other mag brands won't feed properly.
I've had this gun for a good 5 months now and I can say I absolutely love it! The FPS range is perfect for outdoor play. I haven't done anything internally to it and whenever I get hit I will occasionally let others use it if they need the range. All I get is compliments about it!
Pros:
Great gun for the price
Great field gun
Full metal gives the extra realism
Great FPS range
Great accuracy at distance
Is connected to deans, but has a small tamiya adapter already on it!
Cons:
Mag well is too big (can be overcome by electrical tape in the mag well or use HexMags)
Buffertube is too big for some stocks
Inside of buffertube is crowded, so you can't use a Magpul MOE stock on it due to how little space you have to fit a battery in it.
Fantastic rifle. Only complaint is mag compatibility. But, I swapped out for a prowin and a ss right bore anyways. Not itÂ’s perfect.
Pros:
Awesome body
Snappy and quick trigger, but not an insane unrealistic rof
Cons:
Mag compatibility but easily solved with a common hop up swap

Quick Change Spring system?
How is the QC spring accessed? Is it through the buffer tube or does it require taking the gearbox out of the gun?

How does the bolt catch work on it?
Does the bolt catch go up when you're done with a mag? Or is it just there so you can do it manually like pulling the charging handle pressing down on it to lock it?

Staff Answer:
The bolt catch only works when you pull the charging handle back, which also drops the dust cover. The bolt does not lock back. 2393 days ago 0
