The CYMA face mask extends around the left and right side to protect the user's ears from any crossfire of BBs. I bought this mask for my first Airsoft battle, I was very disappointed with this mask. The mask would fog up like crazy making it very difficult to see. The foam already peeled off on the first hour of use. This mask gets in the way of being able to aim. The ventilation to the lens is terrible. Aside from it fogging up like crazy, it was very comfortable to wear and very lightweight. As far as protection goes i cant say much because i was not shot in the face with it, I assume it will do its job to protect me. You could fix the fogging by making big holes for ventilation and adding some anti-fogging stuff. You get what you are paying for.
