B-2 Flip Up Rear Sight for M4/M16

When I ordered the sight I expected it to be ready to fit on my M16 right out of the box but it required needle nose pliers in order to have it tight enough so it didn't wiggle around. The finish is overall very nice, the needle nose pliers didn't do any damage to the finish or the tightening mechanism itself. The only qualm I have about the finish is that it is a bit too dark, more like a black than a matte black or gun metal grey color. The sight itself takes a little breaking in before it works properly, sadly you cannot close it with the peep down but that's a fact of the real one also. The spring shows signs of wear but it's nothing to serious. To flip the sight down you need to pull the latch back so you need both hands and that can be a bit cumbersome especially when you're in a fire fight. It adjustable for windage (left to right) but you need to have the peep up to do that but once you have adjusted you can flip the peep down. There are some molding marks but nothing too serious.


Overall it's a great sight and it gets the job done, realistic markings and a few minor adjustments would be a definite plus but it's from a Chinese company so what can you expect. Not really worth $25 more like $20 but it's still much less than a $70 Guarder sight and if you have a red dot sight this is just a back up. I give it 4 stars, there are minor improvements that could be made but it's good for the price.

Product Information:
I bought this sight a few months ago, and unfortunately it was shipped to me without a means to mount it. The clamp that you see on the left side was MIA, as was the screw. I contacted ASGI's customer service, explained the problem, and unfortunately got nothing. I decided to simply let it go and made my own mount and screw.

Once that was done, the sight functioned great. Assuming that you would receive this item with all of the intended parts, its great and I would recommend it. It looks good folded down when using a red dot, and it also looks great as a substitute for the carry handle sight on an M4.

Product Information:
I put this site on my M4 to replace my carry handle and it added the extra look that most of us are looking for. I got exactly what I paid for and let’s be honest the site is for an airsoft gun it is not really for aiming. Although I did look through the sites and they lined up perfectly with a little adjustment of course.

Pros:
1) Looks great on my M4.
2) Fits securely on the upper rail and was simple to put on.
3) Folds down easily and flips up just as easy.


Cons:
1) There are no cons because like I said before we buy these sites for looks and in terms of looks this thing rocks. If you really need a site to hit a target less than 200 feet away this thing will still do the trick.
