The STAR MK16 benefits from being quick to disassemble as well as quick to re-assemble, it takes about 30 seconds for each process. The outer barrel is also a swift process, taking a mere 5 seconds to do so. The QDB and ELDB system have a quick change process also. The stock adjusts to 6 positions with an adjustable cheek piece on top of it. The entire body feels incredibly solid since it's made of the best possible materials; a Nylon Fiber lower receiver and Aluminum upper.

The ares scar is a great gun. It's accuracy is amazing. The gun easy hits targets at 120ft or more! I got this gun on a different website since it was out of stock sadly. The tan finish is nice but notice the upper receiver does have a little bit of a bronze-ish color to it. But this is not as bad as other scars. The magazine holds 160 or 180 rds but i am not totally sure. The gun comes apart like the real steel version. The charging handle does have a slight problem but it might just be mine.. When cocked back then released forward it doesn't come forward all the way. Overall a great gun and I would buy one. The price might be scary but it's worth it. P.S the gun is about 8 pounds so take that into thought.

This gun is a great gun pretty pricey well worth it i was thinking about getting the eglm deluxe version hope i spell that right anyways its a great gun i love the tan finish its a heavier gun but not to bad with the eglm its about 10 so i been told its the weight of a lmg but its good since i got a light molle vest sometimes i get pinched by the bottom rail but than again its not a big deal with gloves great gun a little bit expensive but well worth it

can use accessories side rails with eglm so i been told

heavy but worth it
the bottom rail system pinches you when you have no gloves on
SOMETIMES cheek riser gets in the way
