Mount the Ares EGLM Grenade Launcher on your MK16 for the best possible, fastest firing, M203 option to date. The EGLM lives up to it's name as the Ergonomic Grenade Launching Module with the trigger conveniently located behind the magazine for one hand operation of both the primary gun and the M203. The EGLM is much more advanced than M203 Launchers of old, the barrel and chamber swivel from left to right for quick reloading. Also, the barrel is contoured for a comfortable grip. The EGLM attaches to the MK16's rails with quick detach lever mounts, and it offers two forward sling points (one on each side).

Product Information:
I currently have this on my Star/ARES SCAR-H and I have to say it is a beast in terms on material choice and weight. Although I have had it for 8 months I've only fired it twice but it's mostly been hanging around my room.
Over that time I've messed a lot around with it though just playing around with it. Overall it has a very nice and strong feel especially the spring loaded release. However the rail locking mechanism is starting to feel weak on one of the sides and always felt weaker than the other side.
As my friend decided to trying to jam the launcher closed a bit before it was fully aligned, it now slight issue that instead of slightly wiggleing the launcher shut, i'll have to look to align it a bit more. This issue could've been have been avoided if the design had the inner locking tabs bevel shaped instead of sharp angles to allow the groves to slide in.
Overall though, it still looks awesome but makes my SCAR-H awfully heavy...as the full weight of the gun + grenade launcher was 10-12 lbs.
Pros:
- Very good materials very hard to scratch (aircraft grade Lexan plastic)
- Easy to use safety switch
- Very cool looking
- Ambidextrous (tube flips to the side in either direction)
- Accepts all grenade sizes

- Weak construction points
- Alignment issue with aluminum barrel
- Hard to pull trigger sometimes (with grenade inside)
