The Kalashnikov USA KR-104SBR is a 1:1 replica that offers the same look and feel as the real steel firearm, the exact demand of the Milsim and enthusiast community, and what did we decide to do with this incredible piece of airsoft engineering? We burt it to a crisp! The receiver of this particular model is actually of a high quality polymer, meaning the rifle was and technically still is incredibly lightweight while still being durable enough for the intense rigors of play, as evident by the amount of physical dents and breaks. The receiver also features a sight sight mounting rail that allows the operator to mount AK style optic mounts. The internal gearbox is standard Ver. 3 design, so replacement parts and upgrade components are easy to acquire and easy to install. To answer the elephant in the room; yes the gearbox does indeed STILL WORK! Even after all the abuse it took during filming the gearbox is still working! The rifle as is makes for great field play, but the folding wire stock and shortened outer barrel really compacts the profile and makes maneuvering in CQB environments a lot easier. While not the most pretty, the duct tape used to keep the body together is stronger than expected. If you were in the market for a piece of Airsoft GI history, make sure you snag this guy up!!!
