The KWA M4 A1 CQR is a serious game changer for the airsoft community. The brilliant techs at Airsoft GI began building the Airsoft GI KWA CQR MK18 AEG with the KWA M4 CQR, which is virtually the same as the current KWA 2GX AEG's with one exception, the lower receiver is made of high quality fiber reinforced polymer, bringing the price down quite significantly. From there, they have fitted this base gun with the Daniel Defense Mk18 RIS II and 614 front and rear sights. As a result, the final product is a unique carbine that looks intimidating and functions great as well.
The CQR series received its name because of the growing demand for high value close quarters combat guns. As a result the CQR is designed to fire at lower velocities to maximize safety during close quarters engagements. The heart of the CQR is the 2GX gear box, a tried and true design that has won the hearts and minds of airsoft players around the world. The CQR also features an adjustable LE stock, metal upper receiver, removable rear sight (perfect for the use of optics), metal one piece barrel, a 2GX hop up unit and bucking. Let me start off by saying this gun is amazing. It's crazy solid and shoots very well. But, if you get MAG brand midcaps for this gun, be sure to lubed and broken in before game time. The mag that comes with the gun is just incredible, it feeds until every last bb. Now this review is being written a day after a skirmish and the only thing I would say that does need upgrading is the cylinder. This gun has a cylinder that has ports on the side that are not only larger, but also further forward than the metal bodied counterparts. But, all in all, this gun is absolutely amazing! If you want an affordable yet KWA quality in an airsoft gun, get this one you won't be disappointed.

Wow, i am blowin away away with this thing, quality is amazing, well it's a Kwa. The rail system they put on is simply amazing, the gun is light itself and it also come with a cheapo peq box(front wired) but it still works fine. the sights are amazing and the kwa p mag it comes with is great. buy this gun, pretty cheap for what you get too.

This airsoft gun was worth every penny! Because this is a KWA, the rof is outstanding and is built with perfection. At 30 feet, this gun can easily maintain perfect accuracy with little (or no) adjustment to the hop up. The RIS is around somewhere between 9 inches, allowing maximum attachments to be added and is somewhat very comfortable. This custom comes with 614 Iron sights, a pre-installed Daniel defense rail, D-boys Peq2, Kwa 120rd mag, and obviously the gun. With a price of $315, you are getting a great high level airsoft gun. One thing i didn't necessarily like was the Peq2, the Peq2 that comes with it is very bulky. I've had this gun for a while now and I believe it has great potential.
