The KWA M4 A1 CQR is a serious game changer for the airsoft community. The brilliant techs at Airsoft GI began building the Airsoft GI KWA CQR A3 Carbine AEG with the KWA M4 CQR, which is virtually the same as the current KWA 2GX AEG's with one exception, the lower receiver is made of high quality fiber reinforced polymer, bringing the price down quite significantly. From there, they have fitted this base gun with a one piece convertible barrel and 7" Free Float RIS. As a result, the final product is a unique carbine with a flush, intimidating look and sturdy front end.
The CQR series received its name because of the growing demand for high value close quarters combat guns. As a result the CQR is designed to fire at lower velocities to maximize safety during close quarters engagements. The heart of the CQR is the 2GX gear box, a tried and true design that has won the hearts and minds of airsoft players around the world. The CQR also features an adjustable LE stock, metal upper receiver, removable rear sight (perfect for the use of optics), metal one piece barrel, a 2GX hop up unit and bucking. This gun is by far the best m4 you can get for the price, it is insanely high quality all around, but still keeps the cst down, the internals are kwa cqr internals and externals (whole different review) but this one specificaly comes with an awesome and unique rail system and a peq box to hold my 10.8v 2000mah battery (which i bought seperatly) if you buy this gunseperatly and then buy the rail system and peq box then you will be loosing about 20$ so this saves you a little money. i suggest getting a new stock because this one is a boring LE stock.

Cons:
for a custum gun this comes boring but at a good price you have more money for external upgrades (which i decked myne out, could be pro or con)
hop up comes aweful at first but once you shoot a thousand rounds or so through it then it should start working great

This M4 is an amazing product. After running a Echo 1 G36C, I was really impressed at the trigger response that this gun had. The construction is very nice, and I actually prefer the plastic lower receiver due to the lower weight. It does help, overall, since the RIS rail can be quite heavy.
Speaking of the RIS rail, the gun is wired to the front, which can be quite annoying if your offside arm isn't as strong as you wish. The PEQ box that comes with this gun is plastic and is quite weak, it broke off during Operation Midnight Harvest III. A stronger PEQ box is recommended, or wiring the gun to the back and getting a crane stock.
This gun shoots at a decently high rate of fire, and shoots around 300 FPS. The back flip up sight is useful, and overall, this gun is great when it comes to performance. Even in longer ranges, this gun can touch people, and I highly recommend it.
