i bought this gun recently and the externals are great but the fps is jumping between 350-420 fps and its not the battery also it causes the bb's to be fairly inaccurate but other than that wich are minor fixes it is a good gun
Pros:
externals
internals
weight
looks
Cons:
hard to take off the rails
accuracy (out of the box)
fire rate
hop up
Bought this gun and got a lot more than I expected! Rock solid metal externals.Only polymer parts are the crane stock and the pistol grip. Comes with a locking bolt (Nice touch) This gun has a rotary style hop up that hold its hop very well. The stock motor is pretty bad. It will last, but a new motor will give you better ROF and trigger response. All internals are Lonex so they're built to last. Overall happy with this gun!
Pros:
Fully Metal
Bolt Lock
Rotary Hop Up
Comes with a dual sling loop (Both Sides)
Cons:
Motor (Super weak, suggest a ZCI Blalce or High Torque)
Bought this last year and put about 30k or so bb's through it and made some minor internal modifications. OTB this platform was exactly what I wanted in respect to weight, function and aesthetics. Going on a tech hunt, I cracked open the hood and was extremely impressed as the shell to the air nozzle are Lonex parts. As a my field platform, I wasn't impressed with the range nor accuracy as bb's lost velocity and accuracy beyond 90ft(normal engagement). It would take some work to get this where you want it to be, hut once its done you'll be a beast on the field. As I mentioned earlier, the internals being all Lonex, that puts you halfway to where you need to be.
What I did:
Lonex M130 spring
Lonex A1 motor
AGI 6.01 TBB
Lonex M16 hop up
Maple leaf 80° bucking w/concave nub
Delete small tamiya, replaced with XT60 connection paied with 1200mAh 11.1 lipo
Reshim
Custom MOSFET
Results:
I can reach out and engage at 290ft(confirmed)
Grouping within 2inchs from center mass
470FPS with .20
410FPS with .25
380FPS with .30
23 BBPS
Rapid trigger response
Will go through 6hi-cap Lonex flash mags within minutes if needed but primarily use semi-auto
All in all, I'm now pleased with this build and looking forward to the FMG4 DD cqb. OTB, you can use it the way it is for a while until you notice what your lacking, which for me was range. I had the 120 spring but wanted to try the 130 and truly happy with that upgrade. For the money on the platform, I can't justify $300 but its what I wanted and after hours of comparing other manufactors, it was still the best deal around. What I bought was quality, that alone takes precedence over cost and wanting an AEG that I would keep for years.
Pros:
Quality
Lonex internals
Full metal
Upgrade friendly
Cons:
Cost
Needs better stock motor
Tighter barrel
Don't use 7.4 lipos, can't drive a car with no gas
