ASG Ultimate M95 AEG Spring
[SF27][34899 / ASG-18763]New to airsoft? Here are some safety tips for airsoft guns that we recommend following.
This ASG is designed with an irregular pitch spring that is easier to compress and reduces the stress on the piston. The "M" rating of a spring is often related to a general velocity rating imparted by the spring, in this case, "95" notes 95 meters per second, which converts to ~310 FPS, depending on internal part factors like compression efficiency.

I got this with my Classic Army X9 when I realized the FPS might be over my strict indoor field's limit of 330 FPS. Turns out it was, by a mere 10 FPS. I replaced the spring and was immediately in the action with 280 FPS.
This spring is irregular pitch, meaning it's more bunched in the middle and end to reduce stress on the piston and make it easier to compress.
I honestly don't have much more to say, it just downgrades (or upgrades if your stock spring is trash) your gun so you can use it in lower FPS fields.
Pros:
- Irregular pitch
- Reduces FPS for strict field limits
- It works
Cons:
- This darn spring is never in stock and I want another one for another gun
