ASG Proline Styer AUG A3 XS Commando Carbine AEG Airsoft Rifle (Black)
[Q10A00][21323 / ASG-50113]New to airsoft? Here are some safety tips for airsoft guns that we recommend following.
This Proline Steyr AUG A3 XS COMMANDO is a specialized CQB version of the famed Austrian firearm with many refinements and enhancements compared to ASG's Sportline guns. Most noticeable difference is the extremely short lengths and the many rail mounted on different parts of the Airsoft gun. A total of 7 rails are present of which 5 is removable allowing the operator to only mount the rails needed saving on weight and keeps the gun looking stylish. Internally is a version 3 gearbox with 7mm bearings and high quality gears and piston. The gearbox has a quick change spring feature that allows for a fast change in muzzle velocity should the circumstances demand it. The AUG A3 XS COMMANDO is a compact Airsoft weapon with a barrel length similar to a M4 carbine giving good accuracy in a CQB sized gun, making this Steyr AUG the ideal CQB Airsoft gun.

This gun is built really well, the polymer body is very sturdy and durable, took a pretty good fall at a game and the polymer came away with just a few scratches, my metal bipod got more damage than the gun haha. It shoots straight and true, hop up is built like a tank that think doesn't move at all unless you move it which is great. Plenty of rails for multiple accessories. Nice small size good for compact areas but still has a good length barrel due to it being a bullpup. Overall I'm giving this gun a 4 out 5 but I do really like it, and it's a great gun to start out with as it isn't expensive compared to others but it won't fall apart in ten minutes.
Pros:
_very accurate, was probably getting the most distance out of atleast 80% of the other rifles at the last event I was at.
_very durable and made well
_lots of rails
_mags fit nice and tight, mag it comes with works amazingly well, other mags that you'd buy for spares do fit but take a little more effort to get in, can cause the gun to jam sometimes but it can fix itself very quickly
Cons:
_rated at 380 to 400 fps with .20g BB's, mine shoots on average at 414, a little above most standard field rules.
_no barrel accessories, top rail prevents you from adding silencers or tra.er units.
_battery life is marginal at best.
_gun jams sometimes on other AUG mags, the one it comes with works perfectly though.
_full auto fire isn't the quickest compared to most guns, does put a fair amount of BB's down range though

What kind of battery does it take? And how much space do you have in the compartment?
I'm curious so I know what to get when I buy the gun.
