The ASG Bolt action spring powered AW 308 Sniper Rifle is a great gun. Mine chrono's with .28's at 380 FPS, even so it'll hit targets 170+ feet away with some good force. The rifle is very accurate even at distance, though at longer ranges the precision drops at 180 mines was shooting a 2 foot diameter group. Though if you're presented with center of mass shots, this shouldn't be to much trouble. The hop up requires an tool which comes with the gun, the nut for it is in front of the mag release.

Great out of the box rifle. Very accurate with .28 bbs. Though the Range leaves a little to be desired. I put a plastic sleeve over the spring guide rod to increase spring tension. Now Im getting some ridiculous levels of range. Magazine is a little annoying to load. But, I guess most l96 style mags are. I wish this had a rail to mount a bipod on to. But, it just requires a harris style bipod. My only concern is upgrades on this rifle. Information on this gun seems hard to find. Hop has to be adjusted with a small allan key which is a pain. Plastic body feels a little cheap "granted ive felt much worse". Would like to see bundle packages on this rifle in the future.

Ya know I have been told on more then once that a good gun cost above $200 and you shouldn't go after the ones around $100. This, I find to be the exception of that. For around $100 it's a great gun. It has everything you need to make those far shots and it's fairly accurate. I do wish I could find an upgrade kit though, can't seam to find any. The plastic feels a little week but for me that's ok since I plan on modifying it. And the hop up is a little hard to get to.

Does this rifle really shoot over 500fps? or 450-500
I want to go airsofting at ballahack field in VA (largest on east coast) and the limit for sniper rifles is 500 fps. I looked up this same gun on google and every other website says this shoots around 450. Is there something special about this particular one or is airsoft gi just making it look better than what it actually is?
