New to airsoft? Here are some safety tips for airsoft guns that we recommend following.

The A&K Full Metal Magpul Masada Airsoft Gun is a unique and rare AEG, and A&K has made this new model even better! Airsoft GI is proud be one of the lucky retailers to sell this beautiful rifle.. The A&K Masada is officially licensed by Magpul and now boasts licensed Magpul Military Industries trademarks. The upper receiver is constructed of metal and the lower receiver of tough nylon fiber. The stock extends and folds to the side for easy manipulation and storage. The fire selector, magazine release, and bolt release are all ambidextrous making this a very versatile gun for all. The charging handle can be moved to either the left or right side of the gun, and it automatically locks back when pulled. The hand guard is nylon fiber and houses the battery. The barrel has quick change capability, with the turn of a lever it can be detached then securely reattached. Also included in the package is a 300 round high capacity Magpul P-mag. This is an excellent gun for collectors and anyone else looking for an alternative to the MK16. This rifle is great for those who operate in a close quarters to mid range environment.

Product Information:
Very good gun aesthetically, all the materials are quality, trademarks are all there, good price, poor ROF

Pros:
good build, hits very hard, lots of rail space, highly customizeable

Cons:
the 7.4 lipo battery that was recommended by the staff fit but did not offer a good ROF at all, having to buy sling mounts, but other than that very good.

Staff Answer:
The $390 variant has a different internal OEM as well as several other features that differ. While the A&K version uses a Ver. 2 gearbox, for example, the PTS version uses a hybrid V.2/V.3 gearbox.

what is the barrel length
what size barrel do I need and what do you prefer for a barrel (tight bore or not) for more accurate shots and higher fps?

(I have this same question)
Staff Answer:
6.03mm barrels tend to deliver tighter groupings and better accuracy while not having the possibilities for jamming that 6.01mm barrels have. FPS is better determined by spring, compression parts, and bucking, as a increased inner barrel will often result in a very minimal FPS increase for most platforms.

Staff Answer:
Airsoft GI does not warranty the use of 11.1V LiPo batteries as they may cause excess stress on some gearboxes. A 7.4V Lipo will offer comparable performance to a 9.6V NiMh, may be easier to install, and use is warrantied by Airsoft GI.

Tenergy LiPo 7.4V 1000mAh 20C Butterfly Pack (Battery) [Link]

It obviously has 400-410 but its with .20 some people use different gram bbs but if it wasn't it would be false advertising but I use .23s because they aren't too light or too heavy and can get through light to moderately heavy brush.
