Don't let the price fool you, this airsoft gun comes out of the box shooting very competitively, and outperforms most of its price point competition. This is due in part to the SVD's ability to accept extremely long inner barrels, and A&K's decision to ship this gun with a very high power spring. Bone stock this airsoft gun can push BB's just over 500 FPS, which is a top limit most players with upgraded rifles shoot. Since this SVD is spring action, the action is quiet and extremely consistent. The A&K SVD will exceed expectations and excel on the field when put into the right hands.

Fastest Sniper Slinger In all the lands!
Pros:
1. Fast firing sniper rifle. Reloads fast, will have a sore shoulder before you know it.
2. Comes with 40round magazine. Thats right, a sniper with 510fps and holds 40rounds.
3. Super easy to unload 40 rounds very quickly
4. Shoots very straight for very long. Easily hit man size target 200ft away. No problem.
4. Nice metal hopup that is adjusted fairly easy, need Alan wrench to adjust tho.
5. Did you notice I put two number 4s? Well, this gun does NOT double feed unlike me making double numbers.
6. Did you see the price?!? Huge Pro
7. 100ft away put a nasty welt on my friends back, could see it through his shirt.
8. Adjustable stock? Yep. You CANNOT fire it with stock folded however it makes transporting very easy.
9. Hitting a guy who owns a $1000+ gun feels awesome.
Cons:
1. Super long rifle. Forget about any single point straps, will hit the ground as you walk. This is also a plus, makes it straight at range.
2. Stock is cheap polymer, check pad is cheap polymer.
3. Has a spring that shoots 510fps, better MAN UP/WOMAN UP when you pull that bolt back.
4. Polymer barrel cover, not a fan, seems cheap.
5. Americans will scoff at your Russian gun, be prepared to be annoyed.
6. A screw broke on my gas chamber making it come loose, just glued it, Nbd.
7. Trigger pull is heavy, have to pull harder than others.

This is the Paratrooper version of the SVD so it has the Folding Stock. The gun looks faithful to the actual weapon and is a bit of a handful. It is somewhat heavy and very long so if you are of less than average size this may be a bit over sized for you. Of course that is the case with the real steel weapon as well. The straight pull bolt is quite stiff but because of that you have a high fps and good range. Unlike the standard model the cheek pad is not removable but instead rotates out of the way to use the AK style open sights. This rifle begs for a PSO-1 scope and SVD side mount.
Pros:
Wonderful Looks! very true to the actual weapon.
Good long range accuracy

Cons:
The combination front sight post / flash hider in orange could be improved by splitting into two separate parts to allow customization.
The safety selector on my copy is loose and required a bit of bending to make it click in and hold position. To be fair this is often needed on real steel AK variants as well.
