The GI name has been around for quite a while, and in that time we've earned our reputation of having the most knowledgeable and skilled techs in the industry. The Storm custom lineup of guns are testaments to the abilities and skills of our technicians.

With this rifle being a Storm, you can expect nothing less than awesome rifles chosen to be the base. Very few rifles come close to being as cool as the Sig Sauer MCX Virtus Carbine AEG, which is why we ultimately chose this model. Featuring a full metal construction and legit trademarks from Sig Sauer, this rifle is as realistic as it is cool. To accommodate the rifle's needs for a bigger battery compartment, a mock PEQ Box was attached, provided said space for normal sized airsoft batteries. The externals were mostly left alone due to the rifle already being cool AF, and this plain exterior approach allows the user complete control over what accessories go onto the build. However the internals are anything but stock! All it takes is one pull of the trigger and you'll know that this is no simple build, but a high speed STORM! The rifle shoots at a comfortable 30 rounds per second at 345 feet per second and does it consistently and reliably with no friction to wear down the internals. To achieve this feat, we installed a new high torque motor. This not only increases the rate of fire but will assist the sensitivity of the trigger, yielding a more responsive and "snappier" feel of the trigger. Working in conjunction with this new motor are a set of new 12:1 gears, immensely boosting the rate of fire, and a new Gate TITAN mosfet, one of the most sought after mosfets on the market. Normally this type of performance would destroy some of the other internals such as bushings, so to remove this risk of internal failure we swapped out the stock bushings and replaced them with some FLT bushings, the most durable on the market. The piston was also changed out for a a much more durable full metal rack piston. While we could've just left this build as a high speed project, we couldn't let it sit like that when we know we could've taken it even further! That's why we installed a new MAXX hop-up chamber and UNICORN AIRSOFT tightbore inner barrel, immensely improving both the range and accuracy of each shot. With all these new internal parts, not only does this custom out-shoot the competition, it out-ranges them as well!

The installation of these components do set this rifle above most, however the biggest difference between other high-end customs and our Storm is that our techs love and care for the craft, and refuse to put out sub-quality work. This is why we've corrected the AOE, shimmed and lubed the gears, adjusted the o-rings, flared the cylinder head stem, and adjusted the air nozzle for a better air seal, all for the absolute maximum performance possible. In terms of which BB's to use for this custom, it's constructed with Elite Force .32 gram in mind, however most brands and weights should be compatible. As far as magazine compatibility this rifle takes most TM style magazines, however for the best feeding experience we STRONGLY recommend using the PTS EPM line of mags, the same as the one we've included with the rifle.
