When knee deep in the jungle, you're gonna want a friend like the Soggy Custom AEG.
Keeping in tradition with the Vietnam era bases, our techs used an E&C XM177 M4 AEG. It retro stylings allow it to fit perfectly into the era. However, we removed the original buffer tube and stock assembly for a much more spacious Golden Eagle CQB Polymer Fixed Stock. The optic had to be slightly modified to look closer to original early red dots, so we took an NcStar Tactical Red/Green/Blue dot sight which originally came with a cantilever mount, but we swapped it for a Lancer Tactical L-Mount, all fixed to a VISM carry handle mount atop the carry handle.
The internals have also been upgraded for superior performance, thanks to our Tech's legendary tune-up. We've corrected the AOE, reshimmed and relubed the gears, adjusted the o-rings, flared the cylinder head stem, and adjusted the air nozzle for a better air seal. Thanks to them, the rifle shoots with almost no friction in the gearbox, maximum air compression, and a bump in the range thanks to the increased FPS.
