Established in 2007, AIM Sports Inc. first made its appearance in the firearm's accessory industry by doing private label production for several major manufacturers and retailers. During that period, AIM Sports began receiving requests from numerous dealers and distributors for access to the affordable, high quality products that Aim was capable of producing. AIM's Research and Development team, with over 10 years of experience, continuously strives to improve and develop new products for the company. AIM has expanded its original product line of optics, mounts, and accessories to include products designed to enhance a wide variety of firearms used by armed forces around the world, including some of the latest and most innovative platforms that firearms industry offers.
AIM Optics are not only deigned for precise targeting, but are made to endure rugged hunting conditions and harsh combat environments. Built with the latest technology in optics engineering, each lens is multi-coated and fused into the glass. This process provides outstanding anti-fog coating, excellent scratch resistance, superior light transmission, and a sharp crisp sight picture every time. With each scope carrying a limited lifetime warranty, you can mount any AIM scope on your rifle with confidence.
The new AIM Sports 2.5-10x40 Dual Illuminated Rangefinder Scope w/Cut Sunshade is a perfect option for your field, sniper, or DMR platform. This scope looks amazing when mounted on an SR-25 or M16. It could have a better eye relief, but the overall feel of the scope is superb. Zoom and focus are nice and smooth, and the quick adjust turrets are very accurate (Off by ~.04 inches every click). The fine tuning adjustment is, as far as I can tell, perfectly accurate, each click moving it a quarter of an inch at 100 feet. The mount is sturdy and tight, and the illumination is very bright. The sunshade is unnecessary for airsoft, but adds a nice aesthetic touch.
Pros:
Tight mount
Good zoom
Great focus
Accurate adjustment
Very good illumination
Great looks
Quick remove latch
Cons:
Short battery life (About 3 hours on lowest setting, green)
Bad eye relief
small rangefinder, seems crammed in
Bought this scope for a KWA sr10 and it looks amazing on it. The scope's eye relief is perfect when coupled with the cheek weld allowing for quick target acquisition on 2.5x zoom, a little trickier at the higher magnifications. Love the fact that you can quickly switch between the 2.5x to 10x for identifying targets. However, I did notice a slight cant in the sight, only a couple degrees off but enough to notice it. Along with that, the screw that holds the QD system together came loose after a little bit, quick fix with a flathead screwdriver.
Pros:
-Great sight picture with my cheek weld
-Beautiful, clear lenses
-quick change magnification is perfect for ID-ing targets
-QD detachment makes it easy to transport with slimmer gun cases
-Easy to adjust with locking turrets
-No wobble with QD attachment system
Cons:
-Cant in the lens, only a couple degrees off
-QD screw was a little loose, quick fix
-sunshade makes it a little tricky to mount scope protector on a gun without a monolithic rail system, (tight squeeze on the upper receiver rails)
