AGM MP44 AEG Airsoft Rifle (Imitation Wood)
[P12B00][05210 / MP056A]New to airsoft? Here are some safety tips for airsoft guns that we recommend following.
The AGM MP44 Airsoft Gun is an exquisite time period AEG. The quality of materials and attention to detail are bringing AGM to the top of the market. This gun features the familiar V2 Gearbox and hop up from an M4/M16. The battery is stored in the stock for balance and realism. The functioning charging handle is powered by a stiff spring that gives off a very satisfying 'clack' when pulled back and released. There is no better choice for re-inactors and WWII buffs than this AGM MP44.

Ive always wanted an STG 44 airsoft gun but all the ones ive seen were nitroair powered and were about a grand. Then i found this and knew this was the gun for me.
This gun really is HEAVY, bout 11 pounds, has most of the funtions on a real STG 44.
(just to clear things up, the MP44 and the STG 44 are the same gun)
Uses a Stick Battery
the selector switch slides, not turns. pushed forward all the way is safe, next notch back is single, then auto.
Pros:
Good FPS
Range
Solid, doesnt feel like it'll snap in half
Realism factor
Cons:
Lacking a battery from the start is kind of a drag but i bought one from a friend so its all gooo
Heavy, prolonged firefights seem to warrent a strap
plastic stock, dont get me wrong the stock is solid but since it has no weight in it it makes the gun a little front heavy.
This gun is AMAZING, I got this baby a few months ago and so far, I haven't had any problems with it. This is a true piece of history, the worlds first assault rifle. Trust me, it's worth every penny, real or fake wood.
Pros:
PROS:
The range of this gun will exceed your expectations. I call it a Sniper/MG hybrid, because that's what it is.
The fore grip is removable and can be taken off the gun without messing up the machinery. I took
mine off and spray painted it like Tiger Camo.
The hop-up is easy to understand.
Feels and weighs like the real deal.
Adjustable sights.
The SAFETY / SEMI / FULL is also easy to understand, like the AK47. All the way in the front is SAFETY, middle is SEMI, and all the way back is FULL.
For a piece of art like this, it would be over $500 or possibly over a grand to buy this, but thank AGM for making it about $200. ($220 for real wood)
If 300 rounds isn't enough for you, I hear rumors on the internet that they actually sell AGM MP44 550 round magazines.
Comes with instructions and jamming kit, in case if the weapon gets jammed up.
The fire rate is just BEAST. It's safe to say it is a miniature MG42. Use your shots wisely, I just go with 3 or 4 round bursts and it seems to get the job done.
There's a little hole in the top of the stock, like the real thing, adding to the realism, where you can store something in there. I have never found a use for it yet, but it's pretty cool to show to your friends.
Over all, I highly recommend this masterpiece to German WWII Airsoft Fanatics (like myself).
Cons:
CONS:
To be honest, I don't have much to say about the cons.
One is that the side of the gun has imprinted in the metal, "MADE IN CHINA". This may seem like a minor detail, but it kind of bugs me.
With it feeling and weighing like the real thing, it is also kind of heavy, it weighs between 9 and 10 pounds. If you are generally not a strong person, I wouldn't recommend this to you.
It comes with a sling that is, literally, impossible to put on. Just scrap it and you're good to go.
Another con is the fire rate, YOU DO NOT want to go full auto and hip fire all over the place. You will waste your ammo faster than you realize that you gotta spin the gear on the magazine. Don't be "Rambo" with this gun, just thought I'd add that.
It doesn't mention it in the description of the page, but you have to be +18 years of age to use this. I am 16 and I take safety with firearms seriously, so I don't see a problem with that.
I initially bought this Airsoft rifle for a Wehrmacht kit 1943 Edition I was going to be using for Airsoft to be truthfully honest I didn't care what parts that were already in the gun itself that it came with I was already going to do a Mechanical overhaul of the gearbox 12:1 gear ratio
Parts manufacturers i used...
*MAXX Airproducts
*ASG
*AIM
*SHS
*Action Army
*APS/King Arms
*Modify
Pros:
Coming from a custom build point of view this is an awesome gun to customize
Version 2 gearbox M4/M16 style
Realistic looks
Average shooting out of box
If you like WWII weapons this is a must buy
Cons:
Average internals
Poly carb piston 14 tooth 1 metal tooth cylinder head piston head and air nozzle all made out of Polycarbonate as well as trigger dock and shuttle
Imitation wood still has weight to it so if your not used to carring around 11 pound gun than keep lifting and doing cardio it will wear you out
