The RIS is just long enough to mount a vertical grip and maybe a small flashlight, keeping it ultra lightweight. The gun also features a full metal body, giving it a great weight and feel, all tho is can be scratched/ marked easily. As well as right-handed ergonomic pistol grip that gives a much more stable grip that results in better control of the gun overall, comfortable for a righty, but hen switching hands it can be annoying. I personally suggest that you get this, but when you do, i suggest getting a better high speed motor.
Also the back iron sight is NOT the one it comes with.

I have to say, this gun is a beast for the price, I have not opened it up to check the internals, but its accuracy out to 50yds is comparable to $400 guns, its FPS is pretty strong, but since this a cqb gun, its better with a 110 spring, it comes with a 120 so its going about 380 -390. ROF is a little slow because of the 120 spring.
Has a solid feel to it, all metal.
Pros:
Very accurate out to 50yds.
Very solid feel with the all metal construction.
Fast FPS out of the box (could be a con if you are wanting to use it at a cqb
Cons:
Slow ROF, comes with a 8.4v NiMH. So between the battery and the stiff 120 spring you get a slow ROF.
The finish on the gun looks cheap, has a couple scratches already.

I love it. Had it about 3 months now and have had no problems, except the mag is a little small. It's accuracy is excellent at 75 yards, and maybe more, but I don't have enough space to test it on my range, the ROF is some what slow, and the fps is good for cqb. this is one of my favorite aegs I have, and works well as a midrange field gun too. It is a beast to be reckoned with.
