AGM MP036 M4 CQB RIS Compact AEG Airsoft Rifle (Black)
[O08B01][09975 / MP036]New to airsoft? Here are some safety tips for airsoft guns that we recommend following.
Description:
The AGM Full Metal M4 CQB Compact RIS Airsoft Gun with Full Stock is the best solution for a compact CQB gun. Picture an M16 R5 that has been scaled down, the CQB Compact RIS has a shortened full stock and a shortened free float RIS. The RIS is just long enough to mount a vertical grip and maybe a small flashlight, and the stock can either fit a mini or custom size battery. The gun also features a full metal body, giving it a great weight and feel, as well as right-handed ergonomic pistol grip that gives the user a much more stable grip that results in better control of the gun overall. The AGM Full Metal M4 CQB Compact RIS Airsoft Gun with Full Stock is your best option if you are looking for a compact and versatile AEG that will enable you to round corners and maneuver through the field with incredible speed and ease.

This gun comes with the an awesome metal body and if you are a righty the ergo grip is great as well. The entire construction is very tight and compact and is very solid. For such a good price why wouldn't you buy this? It's great! I bought it because it was cheaper than buying all the parts separately. I bought it for parts and ended up ripping it apart and using all the parts on different guns but I am going to buy another just because it was sooo good.
Pros:
great gearbox
fast rof
Quality built
Great for a sidearm as a sniper
Great for parts or alone
Cons:
It won't be for sale forever !
The AGM stubby killer is a great gun for CQB. It has a solid metal body and pretty solid internals. The upgrades for this gun is wide in variety with some exceptions. Out of the box the gun comes around 350 fps and shoots pretty accurate and far for being a CQB gun.
Pros:
Full metal (excluding the stock and grip)
Solid outer body
great out of the box gun
mostly upgradable
Good internals
Cons:
The hop up broke two days after i got the gun.
Other than that its a great gun and recommend buying it for CQB.
This is a great gun out of the box for CQB! Mine shot exactly 320 fps which is perfect for medium range shooting. The gun IS full metal and it's pretty heavy. Everything fits together tightly, making it a very solid gun. The sights that it comes with are great! My only complaint about them would be that I didn't get a key to adjust the front sight, but you actually don't need it. I just use my fingers to adjust the front post. One cool thing about this gun is the bolt release on the left side that releases the slide after you lock it back. The magazine fits nicely and also drops out quickly and smoothly when you release it. This gun will accept both straight mags and regular m4/m16 mags. I use D-Boys wind up mags 'cause they're cheap and built well. The pistol grip and buttstock are polymer. The motor plate is vented metal and has an adjustment screw.
Onto internals: AGM makes it really easy to take this gun apart. In the back of the manual is a full diagram of how the gun is put together. I had never upgraded anything other than a hop up before this, but I decided to change out the spring. I did it without any trouble on my first attempt and everything is running great. You will have to remove the bolt release in addition to the mag release to get the gearbox out. The gears are great and so are pretty much all of the internals in the gearbox. I'm going to throw in an M130 soon as well and it seems like I could even leave in the stock piston without a problem. I actually did have ONE problem. The cheaply made screw that holds the stock on practically came pre-stripped. The threading was almost flat, so I put electrical tape on it to raise the threading and get it to stay in temporarily. I will be going to a hardware store to get another screw.
The battery that it comes with is actually pretty good. It is a 7 cell, 8.4v, 1200mah Ni-MH battery with a mini connector and it lasts pretty long on a full charge. I had a 2000mah 9.6v nunchuck battery laying around and it fit nicer than the stock battery.
Accuracy: If you're looking for surgical precision, the bolt action snipers are on a different part of this site. This gun has a 4 inch brass barrel with a diameter of about 6.05mm (I assume). At 100 feet the groups aren't very tight. I can hit a human sized target from a further distance every time, so that's what really matters. I will be upgrading to a 6.01mm barrel soon. They don't make 101.6mm barrels, so I will have to cut one down.
The motor. It sometimes has trouble pulling back the piston all the way with a quick trigger pull like it did with the stock spring. I only switched the 110 with a lonex non-liner 110sp for a 15-20fps gain. It just doesn't have much torque. This is with a 9.6v battery and it was fully charged.
Pros:
Good fps (for cqb)
Very solid full metal construction
heavy
Good sights
Cheap (For a gun like this. The retail price is really $170, so you're a lucky SOB for finding it.)
Easy to upgrade
You won't find another gun that comes looking this awesome stock.
Will make you look like a badass
Will make 4/10 airsoft chicks want to check out your internals.
Overall, it's the best gun I've ever had. I like it just as much as my beloved Echo 1 AK-47 RIS (Also a God-tier gun. It will make you shoot like Robin Hood)
Stop reading this review and add it to your cart!!!
Cons:
Accuracy. If you're taking this to the field, upgrade the barrel.
This actually belongs in the neutral catagory: The ROF is meh. I would estimate about 800 rpm which is good, but not great.
Motor with anything other than stock internals. If you don't get a new motor, you're gonna have a bad time.
