This product is a must have for anyone. It features a thermal lens which is highly resistant to fogging unless you breath directly on it. If any fog appears, it disappears as fast as turning your anti-fog on in the car to clear a wind shield. I ran around a whole game in cold wear taking photos and not once did fog appear. After the game I demonstrated for all 30 players in the game how quickly the fog evaporates of this lens by breathing directly on it.
Also, the yellow tint is the optimum as it blocks the most UV (blue) light from the sun which is what causes eye damage. Out in the desert when the sun came out, you can't 'see' the difference (aside from a yellow tint), however you can definitely feel the difference in eye strain with it on or off.
Pros:
-Quick fit into mask. Took five minutes
-Didn't fog unless I really tried to by breathing hot breath directly on it
-Quickly defogged if any appeared
-Yellow tint decreases eye strain and damage due to high energy UV light (blue light) from the sun
-I think they look bad ass but that's my own opinion.
-Make the save phace mask go from fog resistant to 'holy crap I'm never bothering with any other eye protection again!'
Cons:
-Slightly expensive for what is essentially specially treat polycarbonate lens, however they are totally worth it
This lens works like its advertised to, when its cold out. But when its hot, it still fogs up, however not as badly as the normal lens. The fog isn't so thick that I cant see but it still is annoying. Note that I play mostly outdoor, but inside it works great. Still a tiny bit of fogging but it isn't bad at all. Must have for anyone with a Save Phace mask that plays either in cold weather or plays indoors.
Pros:
Works well indoors and in cold
More protection than a goggle set-up (more of an advantage to facemasks in general)
Cons:
Doesn't work to its full potential in outdoor, hot weather.
A tad bit expensive considering that the cheapest Save Phace mask is $45. Your looking for at least $70 bucks for a thermal mask loadout. I'd recommend goggles if you play outdoors, particularly the Smith Boogie Regulator goggles. Literally zero fog no matter what. ASGI actually did a video on it too, check it out for proof.
