PolarStar PR-15 M4 CQBR Carbine HPA Airsoft Rifle (Black)
[R14B00][09141 / PR15-105]New to airsoft? Here are some safety tips for airsoft guns that we recommend following.
Description:
The PolarStar PR-15 Tactical Carbine Electro-Pneumatic Airsoft Gun features PolarStar's revolutionary Fusion Engine. This completely original design by PolarStar Airsoft allows you to have the first gun in the history of airsoft that can be completely adjusted on the spot via the onboard computer, meaning that you now have the ability to adjust your FPS, rate of fire, firing mode, nozzle dwell (for BB feed fine tuning), and even more on the fly, without ever having to disassemble your rifle.
The fusion engine completely takes the place of the AEG's gearbox as a direct drop-in, which means that you no longer have to ever worry about stripped gears, broken pistons, or leaking cylinders. It is powered via a High Pressure Air (HPA) setup and only requires a small battery (7.4v-9.6v NiMH or Lipo recommended) to power the onboard computer, which is referred to as the Fire Control Unit (FCU), and is responsible for adjusting all of the features of the gun. Optional color-coded nozzles are available from PolarStar to be able to move the maximum FPS range either up or down. The PR-15 also uses a standard AEG-style hop-up and inner barrel design, which means it can still accept a large variety of standard AEG upgrade parts. Externally, this gun is extremely appealing. It features a full metal body, metal outer barrel, removable hand guard, realistic triangle front and one-piece rear sights, and a six position LE-style stock.

The Polarstar PR-15 CQBR. What can I say. It's the best gun I have ever owned. Why? Because it just is. I have owned mine since August 1st 2013 And since then, I have only needed to fix it once and it wasn't a mechanical error, it was user error. The colored ribbon wire that is plugged into the FCU (Fire Control Unit) tore because I stuffed it into the stock and it kinked and broke. That happened a month after I got the gun. All I had to do was order the new wire harness (only about $10 on ampedairsoft) and it came with a reinforced wire. All I had to do was strip the entire lower receiver to get the fusion engine out and take the stock off to replace it. (had to open the fusion engine up to plug the new wire back in) All in all almost a year and 3 months later The gun is severely upgraded (the only stock external parts are the upper and lower receivers, everything els has been changed. The gun with no upgrades works just fine on its own but i needed rails for a flashlight (i play dark CQB) and I did not like the standard LE stock, rear sight, pistol grip etc. Everything aside the gun is in no way cheaply made, the handguards and stock are not that cheap glossy plastic. They are made out of solid textured matte black ABS plastic. I could not bend the handguards by squeezing them. If you have the money, You better bet your ass on buying this gun! (You also have to buy an air rig and air tank, I prefer the amped airsoft HPA rig SLP (super low pressure) ($85). You also need a 4500 PSI pro regulator (I have the Ninja - 4500 PSI Pro V2 Regulator) And you need a tank. I have a standard Ninja 4500psi 68ci paintball tank.
Pros:
Metal Construction
Study Handguard (Replaced mine with Daniel Defense AR-15 7.0 Rail)
Nice sturdy stock (Replaced mine with Magpul CTR stock)
Metal Rear Sight (replaced with Magpul MBUS Flipups)
Aluminum upper and lower receiver (Very light alternative to steel)
Cons:
The only place to fill the tank up is at an airsoft/paintball place

Hello, Will these be back in stock in the next month or so? I saw that the previous question was similar but that was 76 days ago. Are there any updates?

Front Wired Battery?
Im wondering if the battery for the fire control unit is front wired? If so, would it be difficult to rear wire the set?

I believe the FCU is stored in the buffer tube (rear) of the gun by default. You CAN front wire it if you choose, but by default it is rear wired

When?
When will this be back in stock? I don't want to buy a fusion engine and get it installed but why have these been out of stock for so long?
