Description:
The VFC Full Metal M4 is a new step down a road not commonly traveled by VFC. The Vega Force Company is well known in the airsoft industry for making high quality AKs and the highly sought after SCAR variants. Now they have embarked on journey to perfect the M4 and its many alternative forms. This new Full Metal M4 has an exquisite exterior, something VFC has always done well. The body is a cool matte black with beautiful laser engraving on the side. The VFC Shield and Helmet is clearly visible on the left side of the magazine well. The hand guard and stock are of realistic built quality. However, VFC didn't just stop at a wonderful exterior, the gearbox operation is smooth and hitting at a very consistent 370-400 FPS. This is an all-around amazing rifle. It's amazing that VFC can offer this amazing looking and performing gun for the same price as a plastic, flimsy, Tokyo Marui.

Product Information:
This was my choice for an upgrade from my old JG M4 S-System, and it did not disappoint! For $280, this gun is unbeatable! The external build quality is excellent, the feel of the gun is very comfortable, and all the laser engravings are very cool, rather than just being painted on. I've had a couple issues with the gun, but nothing that was unfixable. Overall, the pros beat the cons with this one!
Pros:
+ Self-shimming gearbox (Good news if you're not any sort of tech)
+ Externals are superb
+ Full aluminum construction, with the exception of the polymer handguards, pistol grip and stock
+ Comes with a black metal flash hider
+ Functional Bolt catch and bolt release
+ Easy-access hop-up
+ Laser Engravings
+ Good fps (around 380 with .20's)
+ High rof (around 900 with a 9.6v NiMH)
+ One piece aluminum barrel
Cons:
- The front-wiring in mine ran through the magwell, so the rubber on the wires got a bit mangled. But the gun still shoots, so it's not a big deal.
- VERY tight delta ring - removing the gas tube will make it easier to budge.
- Very slight wobble on trigger guard and stock. Barely noticeable.
- The included mid-cap broke during shipping, it was made mostly of plastic.

The trigger response is great, and the gun is completely skirmish-able without upgrades. I upgraded mine to be a 'dissipator' style gun. Accepts upgrades well due to being 1/1 scale with a real ar15 - even the pistol grip is 1/1 and not fat like the others. My magazines kept falling out though, but that was due to them being small. Electrical tape solved the issue.

Rock solid M4. Great performance out of the box. Accurate with a good rate of fire. It has probably the best external construction of any airsoft gun, even KWA. It's solid construction with almost no wobbble. It is also fairly easy to upgrade. In terms of construction and performance it is on par with KWA and some respects better.
As much as I like it, there are several flaws. The front handguard(battery compartment) and Delta ring are built to emulate a real gun, which means the Delta ring is almost impossible to remove by hand. You need to buy a handguard tool for a real AR-15. I bought one on Ebay for $10. My main issue with the gun is that it is a bit picky when it comes to magazines. VFC and MAG brand ones work perfectly but most other brands (kwa, magpul) tend to fall out after a while. Some electrical tape fixes it, but still kind of annoying

-Great rate of fire
-Decent FPS(365 in mine)

What brand/s of receivers will work for this gun/VFC AEGs?
My lower receiver cracked and I need a new one. Or a whole new receiver package. Im looking at G&P and Madbull, but I dont know if will work with the other VFC parts (barrel, delta ring etc.)
