The WE Hi-Capa 4.3 Compact Elite has a metal slide, a metal frame, and a textured polymer grip. It is essentially a double stacked 1911; the breakdown and the operation remain about the same. The functional grip safety and ambidextrous slide safety make its operation safe for all users. The blow back action is operated by high pressure gas, such as green gas, red gas, or propane. The reinforced metal parts include outer barrel, chamber, recoil spring rod, slide stop, safety, hammer, and trigger. The internal upgrade parts include reinforced recoil spring, hammer spring, firing pin, extreme high flow valve. This airsoft gun has the well established operation of the 1911 with the advantages of a double stacked magazine.

This gun is really quit awesome but I think there may be better options. on a warm day (around 60-70 degrees) it goes about a mag and a half before you need to refill it with gas. it shoots around 80 feet and is spot on as far as accuracy goes. my only problem with this guns is that the hop up has become loose so that when you adjust it, it jiggles back to the previous position.

first of all, awesome! I've heard a bunch of crap about we and how they don't compare to KWA, not true. this gun out performs on every front. Its, short, very short, but accurate. the whole frame is metal, the trigger guard and grip are plastic. very easy to disassemble, and put back together. the magazine is phenomenal, holding 30 rounds! my buddies KWA only holds 14. the grip safety is okay, mine stopped working after awhile. the iron sights are not adjustable, and neither is the trigger pull. threaded barrel, working hammer, etc... its single action only, so you have to cock it your first shot, every time you reload with the hammer up. Overall a great gun, but ive been having an issue with the piston head jamming and dumping all the gas, working on it.... :)

I purchased this product for a zombie game in 2013. It performed its job and is truly TM compatible. I regret purchasing this product a the time I did because Airsoft GI have a special deal on this model and a flashlight for a very good price. But this is an excellent replica for people who already have other hicapa mags as it will fit every mag from the 3.8 to the extended mag.
Pros:
Compact size and the 3.8 model which means that it will fit all the bigger size magazines.
Cons:
Sometimes the gun malfunctions. Maybe it was the temperature but to me, it seemed like the blowback housing spring was jammed.
Also the magazine release's height may be needed to shave down a bit so it does not engage in the holster.
