(Discontinued) G&G Full Metal PM5-A4 AEG Airsoft SMG
[R10A00][02682 / EGP-PM5-A4]New to airsoft? Here are some safety tips for airsoft guns that we recommend following.
Description:
-
The G&G PM5-A4 is by far the most realistic MP5 airsoft replica short of firing 9mm. The G&G has out done themselves with the PM5-A4; unlike many other airsoft MP5s the G&G has a functional cocking lever, bolt catch, and bolt cover. As the cocking lever is pulled back and locked in place the bolt cover retracts; give the cocking lever a smack and it creates the most satisfying metal clang as the bolt cover slams shut. In addition to a metal upper receiver and Navy Style trigger group lower the PM5 features a one-piece metal outer barrel. The body pins common to other airsoft MP5s have been replaced with more authentic push pins that allow for realistic field stripping. Included with it is a low profile scope mount that can be used to mount a red dot scope like the G&P Red/Green Dot Sight. Also, beneath the quick detach flash hider the barrel has a 14mm counter-clockwise thread that the user can use to attach a barrel extension like the Mad Bull Gemtech "Blackside." The G&G is a masterpiece that would look good in any collection, Tokyo Marui or ICS MP5
will never have all these features.

This gun is awesome. Like, beyond awesome. However, this gun is a little fragile. You have to watch out for the recevier tabs in the mag well. If you hit the mag to hard against anything, the recevier tabs on the back of the magwell will break and it will make the magazine move around a lot. The only problem is that the hi-cap will not feed once this happens. You have to hold the mag in place, however MAG mags fit perfectly and barely move around. Also, you will need a good case because the forward section of the gun will become wiggily if you don't store it in a case.
Pros:
Awesome gun over all. It's perfect in every way if you take care of it. I tend to be a player who throws himself around to much, so it's only natural that my guns break.
Cons:
The reciever tabs are kinda weak, but otherwise this gun is amazing. Btw, the hop-up on this gun is crap. I'm not sure if it's just me not knowing how to use it or fix it, but it doesn't work. I'm not sure if you can fix it or not, but for me it doesn't matter. For cqb, you don't need it. It has enough range already and you shouldn't really use it for woodland to much anyways, you don't need something this small for anything other then cqb. It wouldn't get to much more range even with the hop-up.
ive had this gun for a few months now, and i figure its time to do a review. the external parts are amazing, very solid, and sturdy. everything feels like its been properly installed. the flash hider is black, the 3 lug connection it orange with a 14mm cc thread. i have a silencer on it, and you must strip the orange paint(dremel with wire brush). the internals are very good, its very well shimmed, very smooth, and nothings seems like it needs adjustment. i bought a 120full tune kit, and really only needed spring, and possibly the ball bearing spring guide(cant remember if it came with one, probably did). the 225mm barrel is decent, its accurate to about 70-80 ft, by a 18inch circle. i bought a 407mm 6.03 tb barrel, and its very accurate at longer ranges now. the hop up unit itself is terrible. the pin that holds the slider came out, but a small screw will fix it. i highly recommend NOT slapping the bolt down, due to it will hit the slide of the hop up, and very quickly break it(i never slapped it down, but idiots that hold the gun, tend to do it). if the hop up breaks, i cant find one on any website that has the hop up this gun uses, so be careful with it.--whitey
Pros:
rock solid
great internals
shoots 330fps out of the box(dont believe 380fps rated)
good barrel for cqb
nice smooth sound of gearbox
Cons:
hop-up unit
i got this gun along with the km4a1 for christmas and im very pleased by it. but the onlything it has over the m4 is price, looks and manuverability. it has nice power and ROF but lacks a little in range and accuracy, but it is still an awesome gun an obvious purchase. i got a quicksilver silencer so i could put a better/longer barrel on it, i put in the agi 6.03 510mm, though i had to cut it down a bit
Pros:
look
manuverability
its a g&g
ROF
Cons:
range and accuracy could be a little better
